RUBEN JAMES FENMORE

twenty five - potions teacher - heteorsexual - death eater - insensitive - hard ass

Ruben is a tactless hard ass who doesn’t care much about other people. He likes to keep to himself and doesn’t like to listen to other people talk about themselves, he’s not a therapist for god sake. He is not easily impressed and loves criticizing, because he feels it makes someone better by knowing what they can improve on. He will acknowledge something when it’s well done though; he is not passed pointing out something good when it comes around. This young man has a keen eye for perfection, his desk is never messy, his room is spotless and his papers are kept neatly filed. He has been called over compulsive more than once for his neurotic need for cleanliness. He likes to have the control of a situation and loves teaching for such the reason that he has power over the class. He has trouble saying sorry for a mistake because he hates making them. Ruben has one heck of a temper, the littlest things will set him off and he has lost it in front of his class a few times before. He is very hard on himself when he makes a careless mistake that could have been avoided if he had just focused a bit closer. He doesn’t like getting mad at people because he knows how bad his temper can get.

FRIENDS Because of Rubens hard exterior, he doesn’t have a lot of friends. He has trouble making and keeping them and then he just stops trying, he thinks he can be happy alone but on the inside he hates it. I could see him having one good older friend who he is still trying to get use to, because he doesn’t really get how the friend thing works. He isn’t one for compassion or thoughtfulness but I could also see him developing a good friendship with a student, who he actually doesn’t mind talking to, and listening to and helping out. Other than that he probably won’t have a lot of really good friends, a lot of acquaintances though.

HATERS His bad attitude and nasty temper would probably be the downfall of him and he will almost certainly make a lot of enemies, especially among students who would probably hate him for being such an ass. He is known for giving out numerous detentions, and assigning butt loads of homework. He loves deducting points and embarrassing kids in class when they are rude or their egos get a bit too big for their heads.

LOVES Ruben is not very loving or compassionate, he has trouble showing his sensitive side and people wonder if he even has one. He doesn’t like being a lone, but his nature is to push people away, he can’t seem to make it work with anyone. However he does have a weakness for women and isn’t opposed to one night stands and a bit of fun, but when it comes to relationships he shuts down. He does not have a final yet and I’m open to ideas. I also thought it might be fun and scandalous if he got involved with a student, preferably a seventh year so it wasn’t completely weird. His final would not be a student but a secret romance would be fun. So let’s get the ideas rolling!

well miss kiara is also a teacher at the school, so
i'm sure they'll be seeing each other around. i was
thinking maybe a one night stand or a repetitive
fling? the downside is that she is muggleborn
but she doesn't tell anyone, and her talets hide the
fact that she's not a pureblood. she's two years older
than him too. she's looking for someone to mess around
with anyway. so it could work, it's up to you.

katara&ruben
katara is a seventh year, and still trying to get
her friend to crush on her. she's always open to
flings, but never thought of having one with a
teacher. she would definitely enjoy going to potions
because ruben's good looking, and may require some
"extra help"? she could be the student that he has a
scandalous relationship with?

lucius&ruben
lucius is in slytherin, so maybe he'd be a favorite to
ruben? kinda like draco is to snape? that's kinda all i
can think of for these two.

christopher&ruben
chris is quiet and doesn't really speak up in class. i
can see ruben maybe being hard on him during class
and even out of class.

Al && Ruben
I don't really know what sort of relationship these two would have, she's a Hufflepuff, and is more or less neutral at this point in time. Her dad was a Muggleborn, and her mother's side are all Pureblooded Deatheaters. I could...maybe see her being a little bit intimidated by him, but I don't think she'd be all out scared of him, but maybe she would, she's rather skittish, so for them, I'm not really sure. She'd find him good looking, but not sure what else XD

Arty && Ruben
I don't think these two would really get one, Arty is rather odd, and I'm not even sure that he takes potions anymore. So, not really sure here XD.

Celeste && Ruben
This could go a lot of ways. She's a bit of a nutcase, and loves to be dominated, and also feel needed, but she can get a bit violent if she knows someone else is treading in territory she feels is hers, so a spot of fun here and there could lead to her violent tendencies, which he could either shrug off or exploit. Or he could dislike her all together, either or xD

Sirius && Ruben
I'm not sure how he would feel about the other. He doesn't like teachers, or more specifically authority, so I can see them butting heads.

Slade && Ruben
Slade is a dirty Mudblood who teaches kids about the joys of the Muggle world, and he is also constantly paranoid, and watching his back, so I assume these two wouldn't be close xP

I could defiantly see them having flings and one night stands, but once Ruben found out she was muggleborn he would probably back off a lot, probably be a bit rude to her too because he knows how his family and other death eaters would react if they knew he was talking to her.

That sounds fun and she is so super pretty! I could see Ruben getting close to her but because she is a hufflepuff he tries to keep away, not to mention she's a student too lol. But I could see him flirting with her and getting close, maybe kissing her but then getting really angry at himself and pushing her away because he knows what he is doing is wrong.

Yeah I like that! Ruben takes a special liking to Lucius and favors him in class a lot like snape and draco.

Ruben could see that Chris has a lot of potential but he is so soft spoken that Ruben likes to pick on him. That is how Ruben is, he's hardest on the ones who have potential, so he would be tough on Chris but he is doing it for good reasons, but Chris probably doesn't see it like that lol

Al && Ruben
if Ruben saw she was nervous or scared of him he would take advantage of it. So maybe Ruben picks on her because she is so skittish but then she starts standing her ground and Ruben is impressed. He picks on her to make her stronger so once she can stand up to him he knows he did his job. He's a teacher inside and outside the class room haha!

I really don't know haha! I could see them getting close because they are both death eaters, but her odd personality might drive Ruben away a bit.

Sirius && Ruben
a student enemy, the two would but heads because Sirius doesn't like teachers and Ruben doesn't like Gryffindors or students with attitudes like Sirius's.

Slade && Ruben
Yeah Ruben wouldn't like him at all! Enemies for sure! I could see Slade trying to be his friend but Ruben wouldn't take to it.

mister voldy. so at first she may wonder how he
found out, but then not exactly care that he was
rude to her. she'll actually expect it if and when he
ever found out about her blood status. so flings and
one night stands until then are totally cool with me.

i couldn't see her as anything but a hufflepuff xD
but i totally get it, she is a student and a huffle.
she won't care at all, the flirting and kissing will
be good enough for her he's a hottie and that'll
make her day. and with him getting angry at him-
self, she could try and be all "it's okay, i'm totally
of age" or something silly like that.

yay for favorites!!!! lucius is definitely gonna enjoy
the special treatment from his favorite teacher. but
be forwarned...he's not good at potions. so maybe
some playful teasing could happen?

i do see chris having a lot of potential. but he's got
his head in the clouds with his crush on his bestie and
he focuses more on that then his class work, especially
potions. so yeah, he may not take ruben hard love as
being good, so he might be a bit insulted, but he'll
secretly appreciate it.
