The day had been very slow for Al. She didn't care about looking nice now that classes for her were over. She had to admit though, she'd skipped a class today. First time in a while. She'd gone back to her room, and she'd changed. She'd rolled around on her bed for a bit, then she decided to get up and out. She wasn't one to want to be inside for too long. She hated being inside. Maybe she could run into Remus, or Ave. She needed more friends. Didn't necessarily want more, but one could always use more, right?
She was satisfied with her appearance, so she left her dorm as she was. she sort of regretted not having a jacket, but she was alright with the temperature right this moment. It would get colder as the evening went on, but she wasn't right this second so it didn't matter too much. She sighed, smoothing down her skirt, and she glanced at herself once more, not in the mirror, just looking down. She always second guessed herself. She scooted out of the castle before she could think anymore. Enough thinking.
She made her way out of the castle and held her sides as people began to stare. She didn't like being watched. She could see some girls give her rather unfriendly looks, and she guessed it was because she was with Remus. Ave warned her people would talk, but she didn't think it would bother her, but it was. She scurried away from them, and she nearly tripped as she did. They smirked, and kept talking, point and all other things. How did Ave DEAL with this!?
She couldn't have gotten away from people fast enough. She felt as though she might have cried, but she didn't. She was learning self control, that was good right? She liked being in control of her emotions, even if she really didn't have control over anything else in her life. She came to find herself in the court yards, and feeling the need to sit down, so she dropped herself to the ground, rolling her wand around in her fingers.
It wasn't until a moment later, she noticed someone else sitting near by. She skidded back a few feet, and she held her wand in her hands. She released it, and she started to get up and move away. "I'm sorry, I didn't realize this spot was taken." She said lowly, keeping her head down. She needed to just go, there was nothing for her in this already occupied spot.
