Classes had been particularly brutal today, maybe that was a little vague, potions had been particularly brutal today, her other classes hadn’t been so bad. It was just that potions was her worst subject, she just couldn’t get the hang of it—stir counterclockwise 3 and a half times, crush until it’s a fine powder? The science of it was just too precise, she always did something wrong which would result in her receiving a less than pleasing grade. She was pretty much the worse person you could be paired with in Potions class and she felt bad for anyone who had to work with her [only in that class though, she did well in mostly everything else!]

On days like this she usually liked to end it by taking an especially long bath in the Prefects bathroom, but had been too lazy to leave the cozy atmosphere of the dormitory so she had opted to stay in and take a nice, hot shower instead.

Lenore glanced at the door to the room, wondering when Kat was going to be coming back—if she was even coming back tonight. Figuring she had some time to herself, the blonde loosened her tie and blouse before discarding them to the floor and slipping off her skirt, leaving her in nothing but her undergarments. She scooped up her clothing and folded them into a neat little pile, placing them atop her trunk before taking off her underwear and bra and tossing them in her dirty clothes hamper. She then made a beeline for the bathroom, closing the door behind her and turning the knob on the shower head to hot, standing there for a few minutes just watching the water shooting out of the shower head, waiting for it to reach a temperature that was to her liking.

Once she was satisfied with the temperature she stepped into the steamy water, a pleasurable shiver ran up her spine as the water cascaded down her body, the droplets racing down her skin. Lenore wasn’t in the shower very long, only staying in there long enough to wash herself before turning off the water and stepping out into the exceptionally colder air of the bathroom, a cloud of steam billowing out of the shower behind her.

She snatched her towel, which she kept hanging on one of the towel bars protruding from the wall, and wrapped it around herself, it was long enough to cover from her chest to a few inches above her knees, but for some reason it always felt too short. Not like it mattered much since it was usually just her and Kat in the dorm room, and Kat never seemed to mind.

The blonde left the bathroom and felt goosebumps prickle at her arms as soon as she stepped into the cold dorm, her feet guiding her over to her bed where she fell backwards onto the mattress, lying there with her wet curly locks sprawled out around her head. “Hm, I’ll just lay here for a bit.” Sometimes when she was feeling especially lazy she would just lie around, half naked after a shower or bath, and let her body air dry without going through the effort of toweling off and blow-drying her hair.

Kat had spent a long day in the library, working on all the homework she had gotten. Thankfully she had done everything right in potions and she didn't have to worry about doing that long parchment. She would've had to kill herself if that was added to her load of work. But she had finished it all in just a few hours. Most of it wasn't due for a couple of days, but she would rather have it all done early, then have to do it last minute. Auguste tended to make fun of her for it, but she didn't care. Letting out a content breath, she packed up her things and waved her hand, sending the rest of the books to their places on the shelves. Being telekenetic was always a plus. She never had to whip her wand out for everything.

Pulling her bag over her shoulder, she made her way out of the library. Now it was time to go back to her dorm and just sleep. At least until dinner. It was too late for lunch and too early for dinner. She couldn't believe that she had worked right through lunch. Her head must've been deep in concentration for that to happen. She passed a few other students as she walked toward the common room, smiling at a couple of the cute boys as they passed her. She was amazed with herself. She didn't get any all summer and she still hadn't gotten any. Damnit. She hated going through dry spells.

Shaking her thoughts, she came to the entrance and gave the password. She just wanted a shower and relax in her bed for a little while. She ran her fingers through her hair and smiled as she reached the door for her dorm. Pushing it open, she glanced inside to see who was there. It was pretty empty, except for one person, and she didn't need to see their face to know who it was. She was the only one that would lay around in her towel. "Hey Nori," she said with a laugh, walking over to her own bed. She dropped her things and pulled a light nighty out from her trunk.

Tossing that on her bed, she kicked off her shoes and pulled off her robe, vest, and tie. "I see you already had your shower. Couldn't even wait for me, huh?" she joked. Lenore was her best friend and it never bothered either of them to make jokes like that. Some would say they were closer than most friends, but it was just the relationship they had together. Sure, sometimes they did get a little "close" but it was always in the comfort of their dorm when no one was around. Once in her bra and knickers, she grabbed her nighty and a towel. "I'm gonna jump in the shower, I'll be right back." And with that she went into the bathroom for her shower.

She wasn't in there for long. She just wanted a few minutes to relax and clean herself up a bit. The warm water felt amazing on her body and she sighed. She got out a few minutes later and toweled off. The bathroom was all steamy from her hot shower and she laughed to herself. She pulled on the shear nighty. Nothing really to it, but she never really got to wear it just yet, so she just decided to wear it now. She ran the towel through her hair and dried it as much as possible before going back into the dorm room, Nori still on her bed in that towel. She tossed her towel to the side and jumped onto her bed. "There a reason you still in just that towel?" she asked Nori, as she grabbed a book.

Lenore loved being alone in the dorm for this very reason, she loved lying around half naked or fully naked—she enjoyed the freedom that came with wearing next to nothing. Especially when she had just come from the shower and her still wet hair was brushing against her bare shoulders, she loved that feeling. The sound of the door creaking open made her jump but she relaxed when the melodious sound of her best friend’s voice reached her ears.

Lifting her head the blonde shot her friend a lazy smile, “Oh hey Kat

[/color]” Hm, maybe she shouldn’t be lying on the bed in the position that she was, it was a likely that Kat could see up the opening of her towel, but Lenore just didn’t feel like moving herself. So what if Kat unintentionally got a peep show? They were both girls, it’s not like she didn’t have anything that Kat had never seen before. While Lenore was usually quite insecure about her body, she never felt that way when around Kat—well, she did during the beginning, the premature months of their friendship—she figured that it was because they were so closed, having been best friends since their 1st year pretty much. There really wasn’t much about each other that the other didn’t know by this point.

“Mm, you should’ve come back sooner then.[/color]” She laughed, winking playfully at the brunette. Her gaze fell on Kat’s body as she began to strip; quickly realizing what she was doing Nori averted her gaze to the ceiling, her eyes picking dancing across the various divets in the tiles, her imagination forming shapes and patterns. “Have fun! But not too much fun, haha.[/color]”

The minutes ticked by while Kat was in the bathroom and the thought that Lenore should get dressed entered her mind but she quickly pushed it away—her hair wasn’t finished air drying yet and it was late at night…she was feeling too lazy to actually get up and do something with herself. The bathroom door opened and out stepped Kat wearing a thin nighty, well…it was better than what she herself was wearing, that was for sure.

“Hm. No, not really. I’m just feeling a little lazy, don’t wanna get dressed yet.[/color]” She picked herself up and repositioned herself, flopping back onto her bed and lying on her stomach so that she could get a better view of her friend—it was rude not to look at the person you were speaking to, afterall.

When Kat had gone into the dorm and was greated by her friend, she smiled and shook her head at her. And of course, when she had glanced at her, Lenore was lying in just a way that the towel had moved. She could see right up it. Sure, she never really complained. She had a vagina, she knew what it looked like. So why would it bother her? It didn't. Plus, she didn't mind a peak every now and then. Lenore was cute. Kat had never made a move on her, with her being best friends with the girl, but she would admit that she was attractive. Who knows...maybe if they weren't friends, there'd be something.

She laughed at Lenore's response to her shower remark. She would've come back sooner if she wasn't stuck doing homework. She had to make sure all of it was done before she could go anywhere. If not, it would've just bugged her while she was laying in bed. "Mmm, you know I like having fun in the shower," she replied back, with a wink of her own. It was always the best in there. After she had showered and got dressed, she knew Lenore wouldn't have been dressed. That girl was usually lazy about that when she was alone in the dorm. Kat had come back when she was completely naked in the bed before. She never imagined she'd be best friends with someone like that, but she was and she always enjoyed it. "If you're gonna be a tease with that towel, why don't you just be a good girl and just get rid of it?" She asked, jokingly.

She glanced over the top of her book as her friend flipped on to her stomach and grinned. "Now Lenore. You know I would never read that disgusting crap," she said simply, looking back at her book. But of course she would. She loved her naughty romance novels. They were always so good and steamy. She giggled after a moment and looked back at her friend. "It's a new one, that I got over break. About this Beauty girl. Rather dirty" She smirked and looked back to her book continuing to read down the page. She had only just started it earlier that afternoon and she was already halfway through it. It was rather good.

Lenore stuck out her tongue in a playful manner, sitting up on the bed and running a hand through her curly damp locks, “Me? A tease? Oh surely you jest.” A small giggle slipped past her lips, it was a little funny because that was probably the last thing that she’d be described as if you were to go around the common room asking people what they thought of her. In public she was quiet and a little reserved, but in the safety of her bedroom and in the trusted presence of Kat she was anything but, for the most part that is. Nori probably wouldn’t have been too keen about accidentally showing Kat her naughty bits [ ] if she had been a little more aware of herself, mainly because she wasn’t the type of person who liked to show off her body , no, that was more Kat’s thing. Lenore was a little more self conscious about herself.

Letting out an overly dramatic sigh, Lenore pushed herself off of her bed and stood up, “Well, if my towel bothers you so much why don’t you come over here and take it off for me?

[/color]” She winked playfully before laughing once again, unable to keep a straight face. She strode over to her friend to get a better look at the book and was in mid-step when she felt the room get just a tad bit colder. Startled, Lenore shot a glance down at herself and let out a squeak. Her towel, instead of being tightly wrapped about her body like it should’ve been, was now pooled around her feet in an awkward pile. Speaking of awkward…

“Oh, I…er…shit[/color]” What could she possibly say in a situation like this? Her first instinct should’ve been to snatch her towel back up and recover herself, but for some reason her mind wasn’t working and all she could do was blink once, twice, and bite her lip nervously. [/blockquote][/size]

Kat smirked at her friend. "Oh I never jest when it comes to that, and you know it." She dog-eared the page she was on and closed her book, before setting it down in front of her. "And you know you're only a tease when it's just us." Which was pretty much true. They were always like this to each other when they were alone in the dorm. They were always careful when they...got close. They wanted to keep they're friendship intact, but didn't need the whole school knowing exactly how close they were. She smiled as she slipped through her mind, "You know you wanted to show me your...what'd you call them? Naughty bits? You totally had it planned. I knew it."

She was about turn back to her book, when Lenore spoke again about her towel. She glanced over at her when she squeaked and her eyes widened. Lenore's towel had fallen off and she was now standing closer to Kat...naked. Of course, they had been like this before, so they were sort of used to it, but it was still a shock to Kat when it happened. She stared for a moment before laughing. "I think the towel decided to take care of that for me," she said with a grin. She sat up on her bed, her eyes still on her friend. "So, what exactly do you plan on doing about...that?" she asked, gestering to her friend's uncovered body.

There were a few things they could do, but the only down side was that they had no idea where the other girls were or when they'd be coming back. If they ever did anything, they would plan it all ahead of time, just in case anyone came back for anything. But this was different. No one else was in here, but it was close to dinner, so they could all be there, but everyone ate differently. If anything happened, they'd be playing a game of risk.

It was true—around anyone else Lenore was a well-mannered, quiet 7th year but as soon as she was alone with Kat it was like she was a whole different person! She loved the relationship that they had, Nori was able to be her real self around the brunette, she was able to joke and tease without having to worry about what others thoughts of her for it. Lenore was beyond flustered now that her body wasn’t being covered by the towel anymore, she felt her cheeks heat up and she knew that they were probably as red as a tomato. Being as pale as she was whenever she was embarrassed or blushed it was quite noticeable, a trait that she hated dearly. It made covering up how she was truly feeling very difficult. Though, she needed to remind herself that it was just Kat—it wasn’t as if they hadn’t seen each other naked before, they were best friends and had been living together since their 1st year, they were bound to have seen more of each other than they necessarily wanted to. Well, things were a little different for Nori and Kat in that aspect…

” So, what exactly do you plan on doing about...that?”

Well, quite frankly there were a couple things that she wanted to do, and they were alone so it’s not like they wouldn’t get away with it…but that nagging feeling that their roommates could pop in at any moment was present. Nori and Kat didn’t want others to know just how close the two of them were, they were best friends yes, but they were a little closer than that. Biting her lip, Lenore hesitantly turned and shuffled over to her trunk, “Well, I’ve got a couple ideas but…[/color]” She glanced nervously towards the door, as if expecting the other girls to just traipse on in at any moment.

She flicked open the lid of her trunk and pulled out a pair of short pink sleep-shorts and a matching tanktop, deciding to go commando as far as underwear went.

Katara just sat on her bed and stared at her friend. Sure, she'd seen her naked before, but half the time it was planned. Being surprised like this was different. She didn't know why, but it was. "Oh yeahh. I'd totally love it," she said with a smirk. It was nice to see Lenore so relaxed like this when they were alone. They couldn't be like this while they were anywhere else. Everything they had, they kept under wraps and no one knew. Plus, the quiet resevered little Lenore was able to come out of her shell in the dorms.

She kept herself from laughing, when she saw how embarrassed Lenore was. It wasn't like she was really planning for that to happen, so Kat understood why she felt like that. Of course, Kat could've waved her hand at the towel and make it cover her friend back up, but that would be too easy. Sure, she didn't wanna see her poor friend suffer, but it was kinda funny. A small laugh escaped her lips, and she covered her mouth. "Sorry," she mumbled behind her hand, still smiling.

When Lenore spoke after her question, her eyebrow rose. She didn't have to read her thoughts to know what she had for ideas. Nothing had happened between the two for a little while, so she kinda wanted it to happen too. But they both knew they couldn't. The way Lenore looked at the door said everything. "You know we could, but it'd be risky, Nori," she said, leaning back on her hands. "If we knew where they all were, it'd be different." She stood up and walked over as Lenore grabbed her clothes. She wrapped her arms around her and rested her chin on her shoulder. "But dinner isn't that far away. If you really wanna," she whispered. Kat had no problem with it. It'd mostly be up to Lenore.

It wasn’t really the fact that she was naked in front of Kat that bothered her, because, well, they’d done things in the nude with each other on many different occasions. It was more of the thought that at any minute their dorm-mates could waltz on into the room and while Kat and Nori were comfortable with each other…the same couldn’t be said for how they felt about the other girls that they roomed with. It was a little difficult, hiding their special relationship from the world, but it was necessary for them to do it this way—not many people were exactly open to same sex relationships. Not only that but…Kat had her eyes set on a certain Ravenclaw boy and Nori would never want to step in between Kat and her chance to be with someone that she truly loved. Lenore hoped to one day feel that strongly for someone too…

She shot her friend a playful glare, “You’re not sorry. If you were then you wouldn’t be smiling!

[/color]” Though honestly? Lenore probably would’ve laughed too had the situation been reversed, but since it was her that was put in the spotlight she wasn’t exactly thrilled…Thank God we’re the only ones here was all she could think.

“I know, too bad we don’t have some sort of map that depicted the whereabouts of our roommates—or cast some sort of tracking spell on them when they aren’t paying attention.[/color]” It was usually a game a chance that she and Kat played whenever they decided to have a little fun, but it was a risk worth taking.

Movement caught the corner of her eye and she turned her head just enough to catch a better glimpse of Kat as she came towards her. Moments later a pair of arms wrapped around her and Nori forgot about the clothes that were clutched in her hands, instead she leaned back pressing her bare body against the brunette. A shiver ran up her spin, “W-well…[/color]” She turned her body so that she facing Kat instead of having her back to her, her pajamas were now completely forgotten, discarding them to the floor. Her thin arms wrapped loosely around her friend’s neck, bringing her face in close, “I think we’ve got a little time to ourselves then, yeah?[/color]”

Katara smiled at her friend. She knew her all to well. "Okay, you got me," she said, putting her hands up. If she was truely sorry, she wouldn't be smiling at all. She was quite content with the towel falling off and Lenore standing naked in front of her. If it was Kat, she would've done it on purpose, just to make her friend a little nervous. They enjoyed doing that to each other. She smiled again when she heard her friend's thoughts. "Yeah, because it would just be absolutely horrible for other girls to see you naked," she laughed. "It's not like they haven't seen what you have. We have the same merchandise, sweetie." Lenore could be so silly sometimes. That's why her and Katara were such good friends.

Kat took into consideration to what her friend said. She knew she wouldn't be able to get ahold of a map like that, but the tracking spell did sound like a good idea. "Hmm, I like the tracking spell idea," she said, with a coy smirk. "I can do it to each of them one at a time when they show up. How's that sound?" She was really good with nonverbal spells and could do it from behind the canopy on her bed. It wasn't like they'd know she did anything. Plus, it was for only when her and Lenore wanted private time together. "Or, we could even go to the room of requirements. Not one would bother us there." She gave her a playful wink.

As she hugged Lenore, she smirked when she felt her body pressed against her own. She knew Lenore would play along, even if they knew the stakes. Neither of them could handle not doing anything. A sly grin appeared on her face as Lenore turned in her arms, the pajamas falling to the floor and her arms wrapped around her neck. "I do believe that could be enough time," she said, eyes moving to her friend's lips. She glanced back up into her eyes, before closing her own and pressing her lips against Lenore's.
