LILY ANNABELLE EVANS
IS GONNA BE TOTALLY AWESOME !
This is my now
And I am breathing
In the moment
As I look around
I can’t believe the love I see
My fears behind me
Gone are the shadows and doubts
That was then
This is my now

EYE DETAILS: deep emerald green, almond shaped
HEIGHT/WEIGHT/BUILD: 5'2 1/2", 139lbs, slender with curvy thighs and legs & quite a bit of muscle as well
FACE: oval shaped, high cheek bones, wide nose, dimple in right cheek, large cluster freckles sprinkled over the bridge of her nose
STYLE: prefers muggle clothes over wizard robes when she's required to wear robes; often wears skirts and denim shorts with crisp blouses or loose fitting tops, completed with either wedges or flat sneakers
FEELINGS: Lily is very comfortable with her appearance and tries to take care of herself. She knows that even though it's someone's personality that counts, people are distracted by looks so she at least tries to make herself presentable. She loves the outdoors so she always applies sunscreen and she exercises daily to keep a good figure. Granted, she's insecure about her lower half (her thighs and legs, especially her feet for some reason), but what girl isn't somewhat annoyed with their body?

BOGGART: Voldemort winning and ultimately turning the wizard world into such a pureblood madhouse that not even the Muggle world is safe.
DEMENTOR: On that fateful first day of her Hogwarts years, Lily had tried to be optimistic about all of it. She wanted to show Severus and her parents that she could handle all of this. She needed to prove that this wouldn't be a mistake; she needed to make them proud. Regardless of what she tried to prove, Lily's self-doubts were just about eating her up inside. She needed assurance, but not from the people who supported her; no, she needed her big sister's words of encouragement.
When Lily had tried to talk to Tuney, whose frown was plastered and glued onto her face, the older Evans girl was tight-lipped. Lily knew how hurt her sister was about the fact that they were now walking on different paths, but there was nothing that could be changed about it. Lily had tried to reason with her sister, tried to tell her that they shouldn't allow anything to ruin their bond, but Tuney was uncooperative. Lily wanted to know what was really on her sister's mind, and even though they used to tell each other everything, that wasn't the case anymore. Tuney was being unreasonable and her little sister told her so. Then Petunia snapped and called Lily a "freak," well, rather, she hissed it to her, that frown turning into a sneer.
Lily's green eyes searched Petunia's grey ones and suddenly, the young witch realized that her sister was completely through with her. Petunia didn't believe that they had the same blood anymore and she wanted to leave Platform 9 3/4 so she could further put her sister out of her mind. Lily allowed a few tears to roll down her cheeks, not knowing what to say that would comfort Petunia. It was obvious that her sister was hostile towards her without trying to understand the situation and talk about it in an adult manner. Lily wanted nothing more than to hug Tuney and try to explain or try to hide her in her trunk, but she didn't want to have to feel Tuney tense up or push her away. With a heavy heart, Lily stepped onto the Hogwarts Express and waved goodbye to her parents, but really waved goodbye to Petunia, knowing that they would probably never forgive and forget their new differences.
PATRONUS: Doe
Back when she was eleven, Lily's life was exciting in a way that wasn't going to one day kill her. She didn't have a sister who spat hateful words in her face, and her best friend was always around to tell her about the world she was destined to be part of. It was a warm, yet fairly breezy, day in July when that lovely owl perched itself on her family's brick wall, a letter addressed to 'Miss Lily Evans' nestled in its beak. The little redhead nearly lost her mind like an aimless chicken as she tore open the parchment and read the letter from Deputy Headmistress McGonagall, her future Transfiguration professor and house head. Everything was falling into place just as Severus predicted it would. When she ran to their special spot to tell him how elated she was, the eleven year old redhead told her friend how thankful she was to have him in her life. Without him, she would be going to Hogwarts just as scared as other muggleborns, nervous about entering a world they believed was just fantasy. As she and Severus talked that day about what they hoped and planned for their first year at Hogwarts, Lily couldn't help but thank the heavens for blessing her so much in her first few years of life.

OVERVIEW: Intelligent
Lily absorbs nearly everything she reads and hears, which helps her excel in schoolwork. Her memory is often fairly precise, a gift she believes comes from her father. With an acute sense of detail, her teachers were always amazed at how much information she could retain, and they often asked her how she did it. Lily always told them that she simply had a love of facts and information that would guide her choices in life. She's a problem solver who tries to think everything out logically because that's the way one of her favorite literary characters, Sherlock Holmes, would do so. School was always something she loved to attend because her dream early in her life was to teach others about any subject. Lily loves to take on a challenge, to stimulate her mind with difficult concepts and subjects because it gives her a sense of pride and accomplishment.
Practical
In her youth, the redhead was probably more on the imaginative side since she loved having adventures outside of her house. She believed in creatures she could only dream about thanks to stories and films, and she bragged about strengths she most certainly did not possess. Of course, it was cute when she was growing up, but then she aged into a teenager who knew that education was better to pour her heart into than silly little fantasies. She knows exactly what people prefer to see on resumes and things like that thanks to seasoned mentors - her professors and parents - who took Lily under their wing. She appreciated their insights because it helped shape her into the girl she is today: a hardworking young woman with a destined path. Facts are a large part of her life and not just hen it concerns her studies since she does everything to prove herself to be just as amazing as any full-blooded or half-blooded wizard.
Forgiving
It may seem odd, but Lily is a calm person who doesn't want to dwell on anger. On her home street, her green eyes witnessed petty fights resulting in broken friendships between people who had pure hearts. Her parents and her minister taught her that forgiveness was often the key to happiness, as well as a full life. Granted, certain people never deserved her kindness (James Potter and his friends back when they were nothing but silly gits), but other than that, Lily did her best to show others that she would never be a threat to them. Integrity was a trait that raced through her veins more often than not, knowing how little it was present in others, which often sets her apart from the crowd. She tries to give her friends, family, and acquaintances the benefit of the doubt, hoping that it can open their eyes in a way that helps them grow in ideal citizens. Lily hopes deep down that Petunia will realize they will always be sisters and their abilities don't have to drive them apart; and she also hopes that Severus can come to his senses and give up his alliance with those prejudiced boys. But beggars can't be choosers, and Lily will never be one of those kind of people.
Honest
Whether you want to hear it or you want to put your fingers in your ears, you can count on Lily Evans to give it to you straight up. She is the kind of girl who needs to know everything that is going to affect her personally, and when need be, she will spit it out to someone else. This redhead isn't the kind of girl who will play games with someone for her own enjoyment or to save her skin because that isn't the accepted way in the world. She hates to see people suffering as a result of others being selfish. She knows that some don't want to hear her tell them the truth about a situation or about a mistake in homework, but Lily knows that in the end, they will benefit from her advice and insight. There are times she will sugar-coat her words, but only if the person is obviously fragile and in need a softer touch. Otherwise, Lily's voice is firm and frank, especially when it comes to her boyfriend's antics, to ensure that people understand she is quite serious.
Loyal
To put it simply, Lily is not the type of girl who will just give up on something or someone because it's difficult or not suited for her. She believes everything falls into place when she perseveres with the intent of conquering her fears. From a young age, she knew the differences between right and wrong, and she took it upon herself to be a voice for the weak underdogs. She put her faith in children who seemed like ugly ducklings and late bloomers, much like her friendship with Severus Snape. Petunia tried to talk her out of believing him, tried to make him out as a terrible child, but Lily knew better than to listen to Petunia's worrisome words and to follow her gut instead. Even now, as Severus turns his cheek and ignores her existence, Lily still believes he will come to his senses and talk to her the way he used to, with care and friendliness. She's the kind of person who believes friendship and family values prevail above all else, therefore she'll always stand by someone, even if she voices her opinion and says they are probably off their rocker. Of course, she is also very committed to James, who brightens up her day and surprises her constantly, proving himself as a pure soul, which is all Lily could ever ask for in a man.
Passionate
Maybe it's the fact that she's redheaded with partial Irish blood, but Lily Evans will always be committed and invested in her ideals and beliefs. She knows that she has to advocate something with her whole heart to be able to convince a random stranger that it's what they should believe too. Her passions are often more within her big old brain, only revealed to others if they somehow bring up the topic. One of the main things people know she's passionate about are her studies, which are always her main priority. Lily knows that half-arsing anything won't get her far in life, nor will it convince others of her strengths so she pushes herself to the limit, wanting to show off her skills. Her professors often tell her how good she is at debating, which is a trait she earned from dear old dad, who could talk a person to boredom or fear until they gave in and agreed with him. Lily is the same way, which often makes her the ideal leader, most likely a big reason for gaining the position of Head Girl.
Goal-Oriented
As a child, Lily's goals were very simple - along the lines of ice cream, a new doll, or a new dress - but she still always wanted to get those small trinkets. She wasn't a list maker like she is now, but she certainly motivated herself with simple goals. Lily has always wanted to find purpose in her daily life, and with her motivations and goals, she always has something to keep her spirits going day by day. As a child, she also had a love of goals such as how high she could jump off from the swing set, or which kid to beat at a certain game such as checkers. Planning her days and weeks became important by the time she was six or seven, and it was a habitual quirk that never left Lily's personality. Petunia never understood how her little sister could write so many lists and hang them all over her bedroom walls; and Petunia didn't even know how many more lists Lily had stashed away in her secret hiding places! Young Miss Evans' many different goals aren't something she lives by, and she's not obsessive-compulsive about having everything exactly in that way, but it doesn't hurt to have a nice amount of order in her life.
Self-Doubting
From a young age, Lily could never figure out if she really was as amazing and talented as all the adults tried to make her out as. She knew she had something within her, but she always wondered if it was worthy of praise. What did it matter to have a love of books and history and facts as a little girl in grammar school? Lily knew Petunia loved her deep down, even as they had sisterly quarrels, but Petunia's spiteful comebacks often hit Lily's self-esteem. She did her best to brush off the comments, not wanting to seem like a baby in front of her big sister, but the words always stung. As she aged, Lily realized that her doubts were fuel to her personality.

Lily and her mother always got along well enough with each other, even if they weren't as close as Lily and Johnathon. Evelyn was always gentle, yet firm, when she raised her daughter, wanting to shape her into the ideal type of woman. Evelyn grew up with old religious values, which is why Lily is still a fairly soft and kind woman.
FATHER: Johnathon Evans, 50, bank teller, muggle
Lily was always quite the bit of a Daddy's girl because she inherited his adventurous, passionate, and honest spirit. If she wasn't shadowing Petunia or forcing her to have adventures, Lily was learning all her dad could teach her. Practically everything that came out her father's mouth fascinated Lily, and his hope in her drove her to be the person she is today. He supported her the most when it was revealed she was actually a witch because he believed his daughter could truly live her dreams in this other world.
SIBLINGS: Petunia Evans, eighteen, no longer in contact
To put it simply, Lily and Petunia have been estranged since that fateful day on Platform 9 3/4. Petunia didn't want to accept her sister, nor did she want to acknowledge her, believing that Lily had honestly betrayed her. Her older sister's attitude constantly hurts Lily, making her insecurities creep up and dampen her moods, but she tries to be the strong one. She's still very kind and civil to Petunia, wanting to show that she is willing to forgive and forget this petty feud Petunia started for no reason. Yet, it's very obvious Petunia won't budge and will continue to live her life without Lily in it.

WEALTH STATUS: middle class
BIRTHPLACE: Little Whinging
CURRENT RESIDENCE: Little Whinging
OVERVIEW: The birth of Lily Evans was a simple affair since her parents had already given birth to their oldest, Petunia. Evelyn Evans was about thirty-nine weeks pregnant when she could feel the contractions coming along. Johnathon, being a hyper kind of man, nearly lost his mind trying to prepare their journey to the emergency room. Their daughter Petunia mostly watched her parents curiously, wanting to see how her new sibling would turn out. Evelyn's labor wasn't long and a mere seven and a half hours later, little Lily came out. Johnathon and Evelyn were smitten with the babe at first sight, but Petunia was a bit iffy about the girl. Naming her was a fight because Petunia thought Priscilla was a good name, Johnathon wanted to name her Annabelle, and Evelyn wanted to name her after a flower, preferably Rosemary. In the end, Johnathon and Evelyn settled on Lily Annabelle, which Petunia thought was a weird name. And when Lily came home with her parents and sister, the Evans family didn't know about the adventures their daughter would bring.
Lily spent her days with Petunia most of the time because Lily was the shadowy kind of sister who hardly did anything but mimic her big sister. Petunia obviously hated it to no end and she would often stick her tongue out at her little sister, telling the giggly redhead to stop being a copycat. Despite Lily's usually crazy antics, it seemed that the two sisters were really close and often spent all hours of the day together. Lily loved to play adventure games involving pirates, nobility, monsters, and the like, but Petunia preferred to have tea parties and play dress-up and take care of her stuffed animals as if they were her babies. Lily usually thought that was a stupid game because who wants to a mum to a fake baby when you could be the captain of a large and powerful pirate ship? If Petunia and Lily ever were apart, Lily loved to spend her day with her father, who would tinker with things around the house, attempting to prove himself as a fix-it man. Lily loved her dad because he was just so wonderful and fascinating. Johnathon Evans, an Irishman who had a slight accent and the same red hair as Lily's was a generous, boisterous man with an amazing work ethic. He was hard-working and believed that smarts and muscle could keep a person working till their dying day. Lily's mother, Evelyn, was much softer and believed in following the rules. She was a very Christian woman who cherished her bible and believed in all things good and prosperous. The only thing that contradicted her beliefs was her love of all things magical and unreal that she'd read about in her books. Maybe that's a reason why Lily came out with magical blood in her veins: because Evelyn Evans so desperately wished that witches and wizards and fairies were truly real.
Conversing with other children was always difficult for Lily. Petunia held her little sister back from playing adventure games with the other children and Lily would constantly argue with the blonde that she was being absolutely ridiculous. At school, Lily loved to play with the boys more than the girls because they were just as fearless as she. She would race them, climb trees, and prove to those silly little bubble heads that girls were
Lily was just a young girl when she crossed paths with Severus Snape. She and Petunia had always noticed the boy with the big nose and the greasy black hair following them at random points on random days. Petunia tried to protect her little sister from the creepy little boy, or just simply ignored him, but Lily wanted to talk to him. On that one fateful day at Lily and Petunia's favorite swing set, Lily talked to Severus, letting him know that she wouldn't back away from his odd revelations. When he told her that she had magic within, that she was a witch the same way he was a wizard, Lily had to admit to herself that she thought he was off his rocker. Magic didn't exist! Sure, there were magicians who pulled things out of hats and from behind people's ears, but there was no way people were born with those kind of powers, only greater. Lily's curiosity got the better of her and she decided to befriend Severus, hoping that he could teach her all he knew. He was really fascinating with the stories he told, and he was able to quench her need for knowledge and new facts.
Lily was intensely excited as she, Severus, and her family stood on Platform 9 3/4. Hogwarts was only a train ride and a boat ride away and Lily was just so anxious. Severus thought it was cute that his friend was so excited, but he was growing tired of her unstoppable sugar high. Just as Severus was ready to board the train with his friend, Lily told him to wait for her because Petunia wanted to talk to her. As the young witch tried to reason with her sister, Petunia soon became exasperated and jealously filled her body as she spat the word "freak" to her sister, who used to be her best friend. Lily was immediately hurt by this, wondering why her sister had to be so mean to her all of a sudden. The redhead tried to convince her sister that none of this was freaky or stupid, but Petunia wouldn't listen as she finally huffed and walked back to their parents, who were beaming and waving to Lily. When Lily boarded the train with Severus, she didn't know what to think about Tuney and when she asked for his input, the boy who had introduced her to this world said that Muggles weren't meant to be at Hogwarts and promptly changed the conversation.
That first evening, when Lily was sorted, she became a Gryffindor while Severus was in Slytherin without her. Lily and Severus defied the norm, trying to stay friends as they studied together and as Lily tried to protect her friend from the bitches that were James Potter and Sirius Black. She quickly established herself as a gifted and highly intelligent young woman who was an automatic teacher's pet. Her professors constantly gabbed about her because she was so invested in her schoolwork. That was really how things moved along for Lily Evans those first few Hogwarts years: getting high marks and studying all the time, protecting Severus from James and Sirius, and enjoying her free time by reading classic literature. She would do great things, as her parents had always believed.
A high-pitched squeal of excitement could be heard all throughout the Evans' household as Lily opened her Hogwarts letter to find a Prefect badge. Her goal all throughout her fourth year was to become a Prefect in her fifth year and allow that to put her on the path of becoming Head Girl. When Petunia saw what made her little sister so happy, she merely rolled her eyes and walked into the backyard, not wanting to deal with her sister's freakiness. Since her parents fully supported Lily's magical powers, they were happy for her and congratulated her. Johnathon and Evelyn knew that their daughter wouldn't abuse her power and that she'd be a wonderful leader. Lily immediately sent an owl to her best friends Severus Snape and a girl in her house and year, telling them both about her happiness. Lily knew that fifth year was the start of much more difficult and rigorous work, but she was up for the challenge because she knew her large, expandable was capable.
Fifth year was the real start of dramatics for Lily and she couldn't stand it. James Potter was more persistent than ever, asking her to Hogsmeade and trying to sit next to her during meals, and it drove Lily up the wall. She continually told Potter she wanted nothing to do with him and declared she'd never date him even if the human race depended upon their mating together. There was no way in hell she'd admit he was cute and give in to his advances. To keep her mind off of Potter, Lily would focus on studying for O.W.L.S. with Severus, knowing that getting high marks was crucial for landing a job offer in the future. If she wasn't reading or writing, she was usually trying to relax and spend time with her best friends. Even though Severus hated the outdoors, the smell of grass and trees and the Black Lake calmed Lily down so he would tag along with her and entertain her with impressions and read from their favorite muggle literature. It was one day that year when Potter had been extra rude to her and Severus. He and Black had no right to show off their "skills" by torturing her best friend, which was Lily's last straw with the both of them. She hated resorting to violence like them, but she hexed Potter and his friends away, firmly and angrily telling them to bugger off for good. When the troublesome gits had scurried away with embarrassment, Lily had thought she had held her own fairly well by being such a protective friend, but Severus hadn't believed the same. He looked just as annoyed with Lily as the redhead often had with her friend's tormentors. Upon hearing that dreadful derogatory slur about her heritage come out of her best friend's mouth, Lily froze with disbelief and a new fury. She and Severus had their first real fight that day, reminding her eerily of her first time entering Platform 9 3/4. When it was made obvious how horribly influenced Severus was by those prejudiced Slytherins he continued to hang around with and how little regard he now had for her feelings, Lily stormed off, but not without telling Severus they were no longer friends so long as he kept acting like such an arse. And just like with Petunia, Lily lost one of the main people she had bonded with over silly words that really did seep deep within her.
Relief filled Lily's body when she received her O.W.L.S. scores. Granted she hated seeing two E's amidst her O's, but it was better than having two A's, or even worse, anything lower like a P or a T. She got her Prefect badge again that summer and when Lily attempted to visit Severus to talk to him about her excitement, he she had to stop herself because she had nearly forgotten they weren't friends anymore. Lily was disappointed by his behavior during fifth year, not used to this prolonged feud with her best friend, but knowing that she had to be strong and keep going on without him beside her if he were to ever come to his senses. That year it felt as it the only time she was away from persistent, troublesome Potter now was in her dorm, the girls' lavatories, and during Slug Club meetings. James Potter was a damned leech who just couldn't leave well enough alone! Lily would often complain about this to her friends, but her girlfriends always told Lily to give the boy a chance making them useless to talk to, which made her feel even more alone in that never ending clouded mind of hers.

RP SAMPLE: Casey held Reese close and suddenly remembered how much she hated being out on cold, gloomy days. She seemed to be prone to getting in accidents with all these different kinds of people who always turned out to be untrustworthy. As a girl, her nurses and governesses always hated to leave the Spinnet home with her because the little redhead did nothing but cause trouble for them. Casey was always too trusting as a young girl and she had had some bad experiences with men and women who could have easily kidnapped her and killed her. But being the mischievous girl she was, the little redhead always thought it was exciting and just like her favorite adventure tales. Though, now, Casey has learned her errors and finds herself more apprehensive of new people, cautious about finding out who they are. And when it came to her baby brother's safety, she would act like a possessive mother hen to make sure he was safe.
As Reese began playing with her long hair, Casey's hazel eyes studied the young man's form, attempting to sniff him out in a way. He was obviously about the same age as she, and he most likely was a warrior judging by the way he was dressed and by the way he responded to her. Some girls would call him handsome, Casey would call him exasperating, and they hadn't even formally met! She preferred to avoid people in hopes of staying safe and alert, and this kid in front of her was no different than other man in her opinion. Harrison was trying to make his sister less judgmental towards innocent souls, but Casey chose not to listen to him. She knew that the world continued to produce malicious people so she was always going to stay on her guard. Even if this kid in front of her was considered "drop-dead gorgeous" by other girls her age and younger, that didn't mean Casey would count him out of the "dangerous" category.
Glaring her hazel eyes at him, she could tell that he probably was the kind of guy to steer clear from. He was obviously annoyed with her, just as she was with him. "I believe every guy is a bad one until proven innocent, but I always take special precautions around ones who wear a heavy amount of black." Princess? Really? Was he trying to hit on her in his own twisted way while annoying the shit out of her at the same time? Good gracious. "Should I be thankful that he ran into you or are you playing with me to lure me in as well?" Casey challenged him with heated words, just as she always did since she never knew how to shut her pretty little lips. But he was completely insulting her, therefore she felt she had the right to bitch at him. Stepping closer to him, Casey jabbed her finger in his chest, just barely grazing his clothes. Reese looked at her curiously, putting her hair in his mouth before looking at the other boy with his big brown eyes. "I take perfect care of him so you don't you go telling me that I'm not paying attention. I can tell just by looking at you that not only are you so obviously a warrior, you also have a past that causes your need to stay on guard all the time." Ignorant her ass; Casey Spinnet was always watching, always interpreting, and always curious about other people, even if she wanted to avoid all of them.
