The year was 1976, life couldn't have been better for the group of Gryffindor boys known as the Marauders. They ruled the school and no one could touch them. The students of the school were all as seemingly excited about living life as they knew it, but the teachers and other adults in the Wizarding World knew of the real horrors happening all around them.
Tom Marvolo Riddle was gaining more and more followers, adults and teens alike, the followers ran in the purist families of the Wizarding world. Attacks started to get more and more frequent, and more and more blatant. It was abundantly clear to most who was being singled out, those who were not of the purest of blood, or those who were on the side of those who weren’t pure. Some believed the Wizarding Race should be only those who came from it originally; the others; blood-traitors and the impure had to be dealt with in a way that would keep them from being able to gain any standing in the world.
Meanwhile, life at Hogwarts continued as it should have, but life outside the school? That was a place most didn’t want anything to do with. Students, families, and others started to vanish, never to be seen again. They either fled, or worse; were dead. It became so frequent for people to disappear recently, no one even spoke of it with wonder anymore; dark times had fallen on the World, and the youth of the time were the most affected; their futures all most uncertain.
Time passed, weeks turned into months and months into years. Eventually, those same Gryffindor boys graduated school, and continued their lives. Some of them as Aurors, some of their lives at a standstill, others turned to darker forces out of fear. But despite all this, they had lives, and they continued to live despite the fights, the deaths, and anything else going on around them. They were strong, had each other, and knew which side of the war would win; they were so sure of it.
Though, unknown to most of the world, a child had been born of the most heinous lineage, and Tom Marvolo Riddle was to blame. He envisioned that he would live forever, but somewhere in the back of his mind he knew this might not be the case, so he had forged a child with one of his most loyal followers, Bellatrix Black. As the child was born, he was found to be a boy. And, by this point, there were problems in the war; problems that Tom could almost admit scared him a lot; so, for fear something could happen to his lineage, he gave the child to a family who were followers, but had managed to keep under the radar of the Order and the Ministry. The family raised the boy as their own; even giving him their name of Rowle, but he always knew who he was; who his real family was.
As the boy grew, the times changed; the boy was raised to be a gentleman on the outside, but on the inside, his views were those of knowing how to get under someone's skin, how to step on anyone and get where he wanted. He knew he had to get into the Ministry in a way his father couldn't, so he was always at the top of his class, he was a prefect, and on the Slytherin Dueling Team. He was as gracious as he was ambitious, and he could make just about anyone believe what he said.
He was just out of school when the Second War hit, and he seemed to stand against the Death Eaters, and the Dark Lord; but on the inside? He cheered, he cheered and wished them well. But, when they failed, he knew what he had to do. He had to pick up where they left off, and he did. He did his best to get into the Ministry as it rebuilt itself, he wedged his way into the nooks and got himself wedged in pretty tightly, and most people liked him, most people thought him a righteous young wizard, and wished they could be more like him. The higher up he got, the more attention he got, and he thrived in the spot light. He took another ministry worker as a wife, and soon opened his home to some orphans who lost their parents in the war; but the children were no ordinary orphans; they were the children his Father and various women left behind after the war. Most of the world thought Harry Potter was able to kill the Dark Lord, but this was not wholly so, he was able to wound him, but his followers were able to keep him alive for a few more years, trying to give him time to rise again, but when it was clear this wasn't the case, women gave themselves to him, and they bore his children; three more children. The mothers themselves all perished along with the Dark Lord, and by the year 2009, the children were all orphaned and taken in by their half-brother.
The children were raised the way he was; gracious and lovely on the outside, vicious on the inside. The males took to the ways just like their fathers before them. But the girl? She was more of a problem, she wanted to think for herself, and her "father" attributed this to the fact he hadn't had her since she was a baby; she lived the first three years of her life with her biological mother; a French death eater, but he was fairly certain he could change the way she thought, and so far as everyone knows, he has.
Within the last 2 years, the Minister of Magic stepped down, and the next Minister was elected, making Rowle's dreams one step closer to coming true. His children are his eyes on the inside, he wanted to make sure he had others to keep tabs on things people cared about, so he could either use them against them, or make promises he would never keep. The eyes on the inside also include teachers, and other Ministry officials.
So, when he thought all was safe, he started to figure out he had a few people he needed to get rid of, so he started slowly having groups within the ministry arrest some for certain things; but instead of having them sent to Azkaban, he killed them himself. He wanted to make sure no one would ever be able to speak out against him. He knew there was one family he really desperately needed to get rid of, and as he was making plans for the demise of the Potter family; his oldest child, the girl who already gave him massive problems, decided to intervene, and a fight broke out. Whatever dark magic he tried to use on the girl went very wrong and next thing either of them knew, they were waking up in a very different Diagon Alley, and the rest of the world would never be the same, as they figured out, the year here was 1976, and they were back to the time of their father; but they weren’t the only ones, over the next few days, more and more people from their time showed up here. What had he done? How could he fix this? Would they be stuck here forever? Only Time Will Tell.
