A yawn escaped the dark haired girls thin mouth. It was completely dark outside by now. She looked at the half moon that shone through her window. It was quite pretty. She sighed. She couldn't sleep. She had so much running through her mind that it was impossible to close it down. She sat up and pulled her green covers of her body. Even though it was a chilly evening, she couldn't feel the cold in her black pajama shorts and tank top. She got up and turned her lamp on, ignoring the moans and groans from the other members of her room. She looked at herself in the mirror at herself, tying her hair into a bun she looked at her whole body. Her pajamas unfortunately it left nothing to the imagination and her parents wouldn't give her her own room. She hissed at them and walked out the room, her bear feet but a pitta patta on the thin carpeted concrete.
As she made her way to the common room, she noticed it was empty, which of course it would be, it was midnight. She smiled and exited the room, ignoring the hidden passages words of being out after curfew. She didn't care, it wasn't if she were to get caught, but she needed a walk, to clear her mind. She didn't want to think about the marriage, in fact, for once, Lucius' words had gotten to her that afternoon. He pitied her, and there was nothing she could do.
She looked around each corner, carefully pulling her petite figure into each dark corner to avoid wandering teachers. She liked the changing stairs because she never knew where she would end up. It was exciting. She looked around the hall and noticed she had gotten herself on the second floor. She looked around and noticed it was empty, a smile erupting on her face.
She wandered around the hall way, her feet cold against the concrete. She looked and noticed the abandoned bathroom that Myrtle occupied. She didn't dare go in there, that girl annoyed her to the core. As she turned, she noticed a dark figure, she almost jumped but as they came closer, she noticed it was only potter. Bella reached for her wand, and for the first time in her life, she couldn't find it. She searched herself and groaned. She remembered it was on her bedside table. She sighed and lent against the wall. Hopefully he wouldn't bother her...
"I see your out of bed at midnight. What might a blood-traitor like you be out of bed this late?" She asked, her dark eyes set to a glare on the mere boy before her. She couldn't help but let her interests get the better of her, after all, he was intriguing...

~ ♛ ~ IN YOUR HEAD, IN YOUR HEADT H E Y A R E F I G H T I N G~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ Eternal nightmares plauged James' dream tonight as he tried to rid his memories still of what he had seen at the Halloween festival. Sometimes he thought he was rid of them but then they would creep right back up and bite him in ass. The scream woke him back to the reality of his bed as he woke up in a cold sweat. He was breathing hard for the experience seemed so real to him. The same nightmare, screaming, a flash of a wand, a curse heading towards him and then he would wake up. He put his hand to his head and checked himself. He couldn't go to sleep now, not after that experience. So with that he shifted himself off his bed and felt the cold wood met with his feet. Letting his pj covered legs move him silently out of the boy's dormitory and downstairs into the commons. Even the warm fire that was always there couldn't keep him company, he didn't need heat he needed some chilly air. He pushed the door to the commons open trying to not wake the Fat Lady, lest she awaken the entire population of Gryffindors.
The chilly hallways cooled his chest, where he realized he neglected to put a shirt on. But he didn't mind nor care. It was a soothing feeling that calmed him down. He walked aimlessly without direction. Trying to get to the Prefect's Bathroom perhaps or find a secret passage way out into the grounds where he could stay till dawn. He didn't care, he just needed some peace to make him forget for a bit. The luck he had must of been nothing sort of amazing cause he didn't come across any wandering teachers nor Filch or the demon cat of his. He took a passage way he thought would take him to the courtyard but instead led him to another floor. The second floor.
He thought of Moaning Mrytle who never ceased to making him feel annoyed. He made sure to stay clear of her bathroom, that would be a shrieking alarm to wake the whole room. Especially James, she wasn't fond of the pranks he would pull. Soon the darkness made his eyes to adjust as the slight moonlight illuminated his figure. He wondered if he could get out make it to Hogsmede for a late night drank. He was half-naked, but then again he had seen worse come into the Three Broomsticks. He felt something in the corner of his eye moved, he immeditaly turned his head. Who was it? A teacher? Filch?
The figure appeared to him from the darkness shifting into a girl in her nightwear. Not just any girl. Someone he knew, someone he kind of wished he hadn't had to meet in a dark hallway. Athough he remembered telling her once he never wanted to meet her in an alley, a hallway didn't make it better. It was Bellatrix Black, Sirius' cousin, aka kind of a bitch. Not a word had been spoken and already she called him a blood traitor. He knew Slytherins didn't need much to work off of, but damn this was a first. Yet he felt this could be entertaining. Bella was a scary person at some times but her twisted idealology that the rest of the Black family followed was not completely wrong. Well coming from another pureblood family. He gave a small smile: "Hey I haven't tainted my family's blood Black, but when I soil it by wedding a muggle-born. I'll be sure to tell you." he said standing in the hallway letting his arms fall to his sides.

Bella looked over the dark haired boy once more. He was in his night clothes and she couldn't help but blush. In her situation right now, she felt as though this shouldn't be happening. She thanked god that it was too dark to notice and of the smaller details. She looked around and when he said he wasn't a blood-traitor, her eyes snapped back to him and she scoffed. "Young hang around Sirius. Anybody that associates themselves with him is a blood traitor, but don't worry, i'll be sure to send you a wedding gift that's sure to go off with a bang." She allowed her words to flow and put emphasis on the word bang.
She smirked and pushed her body from the wall she was leaning on. It was cold to the touch, it felt good to her. As she evaluated the situation she remembered briefly talking to the boy. James had once told her he'd never want to meet her in an alley, and she guessed that this would be classified into that category. "Poor James, is this dark corridor to scary for you? Nobody around... Who would wonder if you just vanished out of thin air..." She smiled and held back a laugh. Of course she wouldn't mind the boy if he wasn't to inclined to chase after a mud-blood. She shuddered at the thought of that Evans girl. So innocent. She scoffed once more and looked around at the sleeping portraits.
"So Severus has taken a shine to Evans, who knows, you shouldn't be hearing wedding bells to soon Potter..." She said, a smirk arising to her features. Hopefully he'd hex the life out of Snape. She loathed him and it was even worse that she had to accompany him to the Dark Lord. She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. She may not have a wand, but she wasn't afraid of the boy.
As she walked around, the pitta-patter of her feet the only noise in the corridor, she smiled, her long legs feeling the cool breeze. It was coming into winter and everything seemed to be getting a lot fresher. She be going home next month for the Black Family Christmas, which of course, contained the presence of Sirius. Adverting her eyes from his bare chest she spoke once more.
Any plans for Christmas? I'm surprised Sirius hasn't invited you to join him at the party we hold every year. After all, he's one of the only blood-traitors there and i think you'd save him, better yet, invite him to spend it with you, i'd hate to see our families cause him pain..." he voice came out as if it were menacing but truthful. She hated the party herself, but she couldn't help but hear Sirius' name in every conversation every year, and she hated him being the center of attention, it was as if that was all he wanted. Hopefully her marriage would be the talk of the family this year.

~ ♛ ~ IN YOUR HEAD, IN YOUR HEADT H E Y A R E F I G H T I N G~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ James couldn't help but chuckle at her comments. He said approaching her a bit more to get a better look. I mean they were talking so he might as well not be shouting from a distance. He wondered if he saw a blush, but he quickly shook it off. She was dressed in her night clothes as well, he tried not to steal a glance. "Young hang around Sirius. Anybody that associates themselves with him is a blood traitor, but don't worry, i'll be sure to send you a wedding gift that's sure to go off with a bang." He looked at her raising an eyebrow and smiling at a matter of factly. "Ah I'll be sure to await your gift then, speaking of which I hear your getting married. Does the poor guy know what he's getting into?" he asked folding his arm as the chilly night pressed agaisnt him.
Talking to Bella was always something strange, her speech was seductive. As a woman, Bellatrix Black did have a nice body. It was just her personality that was the big turn-off. Like a viper inside and out. As if she could read minds and was agreeing with his thought she made a light threat. He looked at her taking the chance to steal a glance. "I doubt you can hide a wand in what your wearing, unless its in a very uncomfortable place" he said scratching his chin.
She looked away before turning back to him and stating about Lily and Snape. This was the comment that made it through. He felt what could only be described as his heartstrings being tugged. What did that mean? They were friends? Did they make up? Shouldn't he be happy. But he wasn't. He felt a force rise within him, he wanted to hurt Snape. But he couldn't, then Lily would never forgive him. He felt his grip tightened. "She can be with whoever she wants to be." he said trying to remain calm. The words felt forced out of his mouth.
He had to think of other things lucky for him she changed the topic soon enough. She asked him about the Christmas party. He never really had plans, he went back home and enjoyed life. He would love to be with Sirius this vacation but things were really becoming stressed ever since a certain incident involving Sirius' girlfriend. James himself regretted the deciscion later on but he couldn't turn back the clock. He couldn't let Bellatrix know either. She would definatley use it agaisnt him. "I thought you enjoyed seeing Sirius in pain, and are you inviting me? Because you know I'd love to spend time with you anytime Bella." he said with a smirk as he lightly teased back. He stopped for a moment. was he flirting?

Bella listened to every word he spoke carefully. She didn't hate his company, but she did dislike it, he was just too different to her, and believed in different things. Her head tore towards him, averting the gaze that was on her. She was stupid to think that she could keep it a secret. She sighed. He didn't know what he was getting into. In fact, neither of them did, and neither of them wanted to go through with it. Her eyes turned to a glare, her lips in a fine line. "For your information, Potter, We are happy with the decision we have made..." She said this, crossing her arms in a matter of fact way, trying to make it seem more real and truthful. Lucius knew she didn't want the marriage, but everyone else had to believe it.
Bella snorted at his wand comment. Did he honestly think she was daft?"Thank-you for noticing, I mean, you wouldn't hex an unarmed girl would you? Should I die of embarrassment that the great James Potter, whom girls swoon just with one glance?" She asked sarcastically. She'd heard from numerous girls that he was quite a catch, and every time he looked over, they'd fight about who he was looking at. Bella didn't take part in that conversation, instead rolling her eyes and getting back to what she was doing. She took a glance at him. He looked a little cold. She was sort of used to it from most of the Dungeon she resided in. It was warm, but some parts were damp and cold. "Maybe you should have started your journey with more clothes..." She said, gesturing to his bare chest.
She smirked when he tensed when Severus and Lily were mentioned. His words were forced and she knew she had hit a nerve. Even he couldn't deny his love for her, the whole school could see the way he acted around her. One minuted he'd be the fun going boy that hexed Snape, and the next, he'd be the good little boy for Lily. Such a brat she was.
She lent back against the wall, shivering to the cold, but it was soothing. She thought about the party. She wondered why Sirius never actually invited anyone, it was stupid to think he could avoid the thing, no black family member could. "I love his pain, but i like being the center of attention, and he just sort of, deprives me of that. An invite? Of course James, how could I get through this party without you? I'm trying to get Sirius out of the house, not invite another one in, plus, what would my poor fiance think? Bringing another boy into the situation? I doubt that will go down well. I think we should keep this relationship a secret. We wouldn't want poor Sirius to find out..." She had lent in close to his ear and whispered the last sentence. She wasn't being mean, but she was sarcastic. She always liked to play along, and it was harmful when it came to James. This was an easy break from her events that would soon take over.

~ ♛ ~ IN YOUR HEAD, IN YOUR HEADT H E Y A R E F I G H T I N G~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ James looked at her following her words. Bellatrix Black was intelligent, and he enjoyed intelligent conversation now and again. It was odd, as Slytherin and Gryffindor as well as people with almost opposing ideals created a giant boundary between them but look now here they were, talking to one another like civil adults. As she spoke of how happy she was of the decision he wasn't buying it. Sort of like the true love feeling he thought he had for Lily. But was it real or just a fleeting moment, did he really love Lily or the idea of her. Was what he was looking for? Just a girl that could keep up with him and not fall to him in an instant, was he looking for a partner to argue agaisnt? He smirked at this notion without even thinking. What was he getting into, most of the time. Everything, bad dreams, broken bones, hurt hearts, and dying friendships were coming down all around him like a stack of cards. What the hell would happen next?
"You say that with such vigor like your trying to convince someone other than me. Is it a happy decision you made, or a happy decision your families made before you could even walk? The arranged marriage of a two pureblood families coming full circle so they do not die out. You may hate me, but I've known you for six years now. Even I can tell, you don't like being forced to make your own decisions." he said leaning agaisnt the window looking out.
Then she snorted, and called him a pig in her own little way. Which he could only smile and accept, he couldn't deny it. Being a popular kid had that effect. She commented on his wear which he showed another smirk. So she was watching, he had an idea that she was stealing glances, and I guess if even Bella was doing it to him, he must look good. He let the cool air hit his body. "Yeah but then I wouldn't be able to catch you stealing glances." he said laughing in a genuine manner for the first time in a couple of days.
He doubted however he would get invited to any Black parties for years to come. "I've wronged your cousin." he started before looking out the window upon the grounds and the Whomping Willow that he knew contained a passage to the Shrieking Shack which they used to sneak away to Hogsmede all the time. He heard her whisper in his ear, just like a seductress but he was a seducer himself and knew some of the tricks to the trade. She joked about bringing him in and making his fiance jealous. He wouldn't be surprised, he was James Potter after all albeit a bit cocky. "Honestly, I think he might just break if he knew about us, babe." he said playing right back. "Also thats the first time you called me James, Bella. Looks like someones warming up to me after all" he said getting close to her inches from her face before pulling back and giving a small laugh.

Bella followed him to the window that overlooked the grounds. With the moonlight, it looked amazing. She thought about her actions. What was she doing. She was supposed to be the girl that wasn't afraid to hex a blood-traitor or less in the hallways, and yet here she was, having a civil conversation with her cousins best friend. She sighed, she felt dirty. She felt wrong.
She thought about his words. Was it really just about the arrangement being made before she could walk? It was, but she tried to care for the boy. Bellatrix Lestrange. It just sounded a little wrong. It was as if her life was moving so fast and though she'd try and deny it, he was right. She hated being forced into things, but this was something she had to do. Her life, it wasn't exactly what she dreamed it would be. Next week was the dark mark initiation, and in a few short months, her wedding. She'd always dreamed of falling in love and spending the rest of her life as a wife and mother.
She snarled at him, "Of course I want it and it's a happy decision. don't think you know anything about me. You don't so don't pretend..." She said this quietly, but it had a lot of power pushed through it. Her marriage was a touchy subject. She just felt she was too young.
She sighed, wanting to get off the subject. She smiled at his comment, turning to face him. "I'm allowed to, It wasn't half obvious you were staring at this..." She said, her arms gesturing up and down her slim body. She smiled, something she hadn't done in so long. It was usually a smirk or a snarl, but never a smile, especially around a Gryffindor. She was actually surprised he was being civil to her... she was intrigued when he said he had wronged her cousin. In what way? Sirius was usually an easy going guy, never a real pain in the ass to people. She raised an eyebrow. "And how might have you wronged him? You know, You may have better ideals than I once thought." she said, Her words were soft but showed an impressed tone.
As he leaned towards her, his words swirling around her head, his smell was intoxicating. She felt he breath get heavy. She was a girl after all, she can't be blamed for her hormones, or mistakes at this age. She cleared her throat and smirked. "Just because I may call you James, doesn't mean I've warmed up to you. Just a civil conversation. Which should never be spoken of again after this night. We wouldn't want this to fall into the wrong hands and give them anything to talk about, now do we?" She looked up at him, noticing he was quite a bit taller than her. She smiled at him and stepped a little closer. She was interested, but she blamed this on her hormones. When in came to James, she found he was a wonderful challenge, and she liked a challenge...

~ ♛ ~ IN YOUR HEAD, IN YOUR HEADT H E Y A R E F I G H T I N G~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ ❀ ~ The way she snarled at him, James couldn't help but laugh a bit. She was a female of such pride that she would never admit that he a pureblood traitor maybe could of said something that actually meant something to her. In a way James wasn't a pureblood traitor, sure he thought of enjoying company with half-bloods and muggleborn but he never married one and maybe he didn't share the idealogy but he was a pureblood wizarding family. So he was in the clear for many things, maybe thats why he hadn't been attacked as it was. He wasn't high on that list. "Sorry just seems, the Bella I know that calls me names would be the one that marries who she deems worthy herself and even if it wasn't her parent's choice." he said as he noticed she was stepping closer to him as if playing her game of chicken. Who would blink first before they both went over the edge.
He stepped in forward meeting her challenge. He could see her features from here even in the dark. Bellatrix Black was a very attractive girl, no woman. But the apple had posion inside, will maybe a taste wouldn't do anything if you kept digging enough it was sure to hurt you eventually. When she gestured to her body he couldn't help a smile breaking out. "Alright, you got me but you can't say you don't enjoy the attention." he said his eyes purposely eyeing her now slowly as if he was teasing her now.
She seemed interested in how he wronged Sirius, Sirius already knew he was sure of it. Wasn't more she could mess with. But he wouldn't given it all away, only small details and a general idea of what he had done. He looked at her his tone turning serious. Serious about Sirius, haha puns. "I gave into my desire and lust and betrayed him with his romantic interest." he said hoping this was better than saying ' I couldn't control my hormones, and I slept with his girlfriend." He leaned his head agaisnt the stone. Trying to figure out what would happen with Sirius now. Life was getting stranger, that was for sure.
She described this meeting as having being kept secret. Secrets he thought he had that protection to believe in, but no that was also a fallacy falling. He realized this was the longest he had ever been civil with Bella and how he was actually enjoying it more than anything. Did his hormones know no bounds or was he actually having fun with a Slytherin, not just a Slytherin a pureblood supremacist, and not just that, Bellatrix Black. What was he getting himself into? "Our little secret, dont let your parents know. Although Im pureblood too."

For once, Bella was enjoying herself. Pity though. She looked around. It was unusual that somebody hadn't walked by yet. she snorted at the very idea of being a prefect. How they sucked up to the system. She looked up into his eyes. "Who said I didn't deem Rodolphous worthy? What, do you have somebody else in mind?" She asked. She looked to him, her large dark eyes seductive. They were close, and the moment seemed exciting. Like she was doing something she shouldn't. She felt alive, and she loved it. In fact, she shouldn't be around him at all, she should have hexed the life out of him by now. She wondered how these events would have turned out if she hadn't forgotten her wand. She suposed she would have threatened him and walked away, her pride getting the best of her.
She smiled when he admitted he had been staring. She loved the attention of course. "Oh i'm sorry, would you like me to do a twirl? A full preview as such?" She asked, her voice soft and quiet. Bella listened to his basic details about what had happened. Was everybody having sex around this castle? She may be a tease and probably had a little fun around the castle with a few guys, but wasn't anybody saving themselves for marriage? She went back to the conversation she had with Lucius earlier. But quickly shook it out of her head. "Oh well, aren't you a rebel. I mean, I do that anyway, but even for you that's a little below the belt don't you think? I thought Sirius was one to sleep around the castle, you know, no strings attached type of guy..." She said, raising an eyebrow at him. She never moved a step closer, this was as far as she'd step to the boy.
She giggled at their secret. She liked secrets, something she was good at keeping. He may be a pure-blood, but it didn't mean her parents would approve, especially after all the arrangements being made. "You may be pure-blooded, but that doesn't mean my parents would accept you, after all, I'm taken, but it doesn't seem you have a problem with that, from your previous history of course..." She said this, refering to the incident refering to Sirius. She knew nothing would happen. A Slytherin does not have fun with a Gryffindor, it was like an unwritten code for both houses. Her breath was still slightly heavy from her nerves and excitement.
