James' heart sank as she gave him a cold response.He knew he deserved it, but it didn't make him feel any better at all about it. He was on her hated list after last summer's fiasco involving Severus Snape. He wanted her to see how much of an asshole that guy was. He was a dark wizard that looked down upon others, sure they were bullies themselves the Marauders. But never would be do such vile things to people. He had heard of the rise of the dark wizards known as Death Eaters across the land and it had scared him this summer. He had learned more and more hexes, curses, and spellwork just for this sort of occassion if he was ever attacked and in this day of the dark wizarding age, anything was possible. But his friends were as happy to see him as ever, and that brought a smile upon his face.

A smile until he noticed the smell that had plauged the room. "What the fuck!? Are you serious?" he said covering his nose as he sat down next to Sirius and Remus. The horrible smell made gag. "What did you eat, dammit you need to be housetrained Padfoot!" he said playfully hitting Sirius in his shoulder while getting near Remus more in a futile attempt to avoid the smell. He stole another glance at the sexy redhead sitting right near him but finally he was able to block the smell out of his head.

Then Sirius had to make a sexist joke. Oh, the shit that hit the fan as the Americans say. Lily started getting up screaming at Sirius. James found himself saying: "Evans wait!" and then giving a glare to Sirius. He was on rocky ground as it was with Lily and of course Sirius had to do this, damn could no situation go right now.

Then the luggage exploded as Lily's stuff swept through the compartment. Papers strewn across, poor Remus buried in most of it. A photograph laid in his lap, taking it in his hand for a moment he examined it. A couple, one redheaded the other dark hair, standing in a wedding gown. Oddly enough the hair matched him and Lily and then it hit him, this was Lily's parents. He had only saw a passing glance as she left with them. Cute couple. He heard Lily asking for it back her voice cracking as it was a difficult task. He handed back to her with only one remark: "They look happy"

He tried to bring a genuine smile but something laid beside him on his mates lap that his eyes were drawn to. His eyes widended as Lily's underwear was on display on Sirus lap, repeating that in his head Lily's underwear on Sirius lap. "Never imagined white lace." he found himself saying without thinking as his face went extremely hot and blushed. He found it hard to speak he coughed and before he knew it he had sprouted a pervert's nosebleed. He covered his face before promptly turning around to block his face.

He listened to the other two squabble and he just looked back and forth between them. He licked his lips, and started to interject, but thought against it. He cleared his throat a few times, and he could hear the mucus in his throat, and he had the urge to spit it somewhere. He looked towards the window, and they were stilll at the platform. He sighed, and he couldn't spit it yet, he didn't want to get yelled at, he already had one nag in the compartment, well two really. Remus was here after all.

He looked at her as she addressed his fart. "It always smells like heaven when I nearly rip my pants." He said with a bright smile. He never learned manners, anyone could tell that by just looking at him. Strange part of it was, he could be a real charmer when he wanted to be. It just seemed right now, he chose not to be. "If the Great Hall had the pleasure of smelling like this all the time, I'd never leave!" He admonished with a flourish. He looked at Remus and waved him off. "Don't be such a girl, Remus." He looked back at Evans. "Certainly not! I don't want to see anymore of you then I ever have to, Prongs happiness be damned."

He laughed loudly when she called him a dog. If only she knew the half of it. "You don't even know how right you are there, Sweet Cheeks. And Potter, guess you probably figured this out, but it was me who ate all your shoes this summer. Guess I'm nothing but a bad doggy after all. Gunna spank me with the newspaper now? I do love it when you get aggressive!" He said sarcastically. He then looked away, towards his friends when she opened her mouth again. He sighed, letting her finish. "Now, this is what's wrong with you women, always talking! Never just shutting it to let someone get a word in edgewise. Let a woman have an inch, they take a mile. This is why I don't keep any of you around! Are you right done? Yes, boohoo, bad home life; siblings don't love you. Welcome to my world, Princess; life goes on. You don't need family to get by, believe me." He wrinkled up his nose at her for the last part, leaning in a bit to whisper to her, but before he could get too close, she was up and tugging at things. And, then there was a great clatter and there was stuff everywhere. "Well now you've just made a mess." He said looking over the things that had fallen about.

And, then there was something on him. He looked down and he lifted them. He changed his face to one of amazement. He inspected the underpants like they were some sort of miracle from God. "What are these?! I've never seen something like this!" He stretched them a bit, and he turned them around and around. "Are these what Muggles call "panties"?! Wizarding women don't wear these! This is a miracle, brilliant really. Those Muggles think of everything we stupid wizards can't." He said sarcastically. He stood for a second, and he tucked them into his back pocket. He sat again, and he crossed his legs. "I wouldn't have guessed white either. Seems such an innocent color for someone as bitchy as you."
