Hey lips curved into the all the familiar smile that she shared with thee Gryffindor boy in front of her. Her cheeks were starting to hurt because of this, but she couldn't help herself. He was amazing to be around. She let out a small laugh when she imagined him turning up at the Yule ball. A nice pair of red heels to finish off the outfit. That's what she liked about the boy. He could always make her laugh, even at the worst of times. "What are friends for? You would tell me if my bottom were to look to big in a dress, wouldn't you? Or anything for that matter! Now, what would we do without each other?" She asked this, a sincere look taking over her happy nature. He could always brighten her day...
As she continued to walk, she studied the ground. "But that's the easy way you know. I would much rather your company..." She said this, but pulled out her wand anyway, giving him a wink before delicately flicking her wrist for more performance. "Accio Alex's Wand" She said this, her voice steady, but noticed nothing had happened. With a sigh, she passed her wand over. As she looked at her own, she was pleased that this wand had lasted her her whole life. From when she was eleven years old. It was a dark cherry tree wood with a dragon heart string core, measuring at approximately 7 and a half inches.
]"I think it would be more effective if you tried. It would probably recognize it better..." She smiled as she waited.
"You know, spiders aren't the worst creatures around... I mean, there are worse out there. For example..." She held her finger to her chin before thinking of something worse, remembering such a creature. "How about Vampires? I mean, they kill people for their blood. Aren't they scarier than Spiders?" She asked this, her eyes curious to his answer. How did her feel about them? About her if her were to find out? She dreaded the answer, but she wanted to know how she was looked upon by others, whether they knew they were in a Vampires presence or not.

He put a hand on his hip and made a ‘flop’ motion [lolol, I don’t know how to describe it D:] with the other hand while adding a lisp to his voice and talking especially feminine, “Oh honey, your bottom is the perfect size! Not too big, but not nonexistent either. Any girl would be jealous!” Alex stopped his gay boy routine and sucked in a breath, “Wow, it’s scary how good I am at that voice…” He grinned, it was a well-known fact that he went for both teams, having dated his fair share of girls and guys over the past 6 years so sometimes it felt completely natural for him to imitate someone who primarily was into guys.
His eyes lit up and the corners of his lips curved into a bright smile, “We’d be lost and completely miserable without each other, that’s for sure!” The 6th year definitely appreciated Juliet’s friendship, she was one of the only girl’s that he was actually friends with…and she was one of the closest friends that he had. He’d even go as far as to say that she was perhaps one of his best friends. Whenever the two of them were together they definitely had a good time, no matter what they were up to and that’s what he liked about her.
At first he was disappointed when the spell didn’t yield his own wand but when she handed her wand over to him he felt a newfound hope for retrieving his wand and promptly flicked his wrist, “Accio wand!” Nothing happened. “Maybe I have to be more specific, yeah? Accio my wand” Still nothing. He was becoming a little frustrated and feeling rather hopeless, what if he never found his wand again? What good was a wizard without his wand? “Bahh! Accio Alexander James Vale’s Wand!” It was quite comical how frustrated he’d become, his voice took on a more gravelly tone, almost sounding like a growl, his brows knitting together. He handed the wand back to Juliet with a sigh and opened his mouth to say something when he felt something collide with the side of his head. Confused and a tad dumbstruck, Alex averted his gaze to the grassy path that they’d stopped on. His eyes lit up like the Fourth of July when, low and behold!, his wand lay at his feet, “Haha, well I’ll be damned. It worked! Thank you so muuuuuuuch Jules, I appreciate it!” In his excited stupor Alex wrapped his arms around her in a friendly hug before pulling away and bending down to retrieve his wand, pocketing it and making sure that it was safe and secure this time.
Casting a sideways glance to her, he paused, thinking about what she had just asked him. In truth he’d never really thought much about vampires or werewolves or any other creature that went bump in the night, despite the fact that he knew they existed somewhere. He’d always been too preoccupied with shrieking like a little girl over the spiders that always seemed to find their way into his bed hangings specifically—as if they specifically targeted him out of all the Gryffindor boys…
“Hm. Well, I suppose I’d think of it like this; there are good and bad wizards out there, right? There’s the good wizards, like us, and then the bad guys like that Voldemort guy and his followers. So, I think that there’s probably good and bad vampires as well—so I don’t really think that it’d be fair to lump all of them together in one category and say that they’re all evil. I mean, I’ve never met one before, but I’m going to assume that they’re not all bad.” He scratched the back of his head, wondering where her sudden interest in vampires came from.

Juliet snorted in laughter. The way he said that brought tears to her eyes. "In all seriousness, that was way too scary." She stopped laughing, the smile never leaving her lips. She looked to his face, nodding at how true that was. Sure she was friends with the Marauders, but nobody could ever replace any feelings she had when Alex was around. He was just that boy that could make everything better in her life, and if she were to ever lose him, she would be miserable for the rest of her life.
She flipped her blonde hair away once more, watching him use her wand to find his own. How hopeless he was, but she couldn't help but love that about him. As he tried three ways to call for him wand, she watched as she saw something fly through the air and collide with Alex's head. She laughed when she noticed it was his wand and the fact that it had collided with his head instead of flying itself through the air and delicately landing at his feet.
"I think it's angry at you for dropping it..." She said, the laughter never leaving her voice. She felt herself being pulled into a hug, something she accepted without a bit of hesitation, liking the fact that she had someone in her life like this.
She listened to his point of view happy that he saw the world in two sides instead of categorizing everything into one side. "I like the way you think about things. You've got a better perspective that other people around this school. I like that about you. Your spider phobia on the other hand...." As she said this, she bent down the the ground, picking up a tiny spider, something you could hardly see, and holding it close to her, enough so he could still see it...
"How could you be afraid of this little guy... She said this, smiling awaiting his reaction, but gingerly put the spider back on the ground, showing Alex that there was no harm done...
