He can be just as mischievous as James and Sirius and is oftentimes the brains behind the crazy schemes that they come up with. He’s the force that keeps everything held together; his quick thinking is what gets the Marauders out of trouble time and time again, though they certainly are no strangers to Detention.

He is exceptionally brilliant for his age, retaining nearly every bit of information he has ever read and putting it to practical use. Remus makes perfect marks in almost every class he is in, aside from a certain few that he struggles in (though he’s too embarrassed to admit it).

For one so young he’s been through a lot; Remus Lupin is 16 going on 30 with the graying hair to prove it.

From the get-go, I knew this was hard to hold

He is unbelievably kind hearted and is willing to help out anyone in need, no matter what background they come from or what situation they’re in. Perhaps this is why he’s such a likeable guy, Remus is very easy to get along with, the perfect, polite gentleman that any girl would be proud to bring home to meet her parents.

Being a Marauder means that he's not on very good terms with most Slytherins--since that particular House is the main object of his and his friends' pranks. Remus is more of a pacifist, tending to use his quick wit to get him and his friends out of sticky situations rather than to pull out his wand first chance he gets. Despite him being such a friendly, gentlemanly kind of guy he does have his moments [especially if you mistreat a lady, or go after any of his friends!] where he'll snap.

Remus hasn't had a lot of experience in the 'love' department. He's incredibly self-conscious about his scar covered body and his monthly 'furry little problem' that he tends to push girls who're interested in him away [discreetly and politely, of course!]. But that doesn't mean that he doesn't want to be with someone, he just thinks that any girl could do a lot better than a monster like him.

They could definitely be friends/acquaintances. Remus doesn't necessarily have it out for all Slytherins, just the particularly nasty ones [such as Bella and Lucius and that lot]. I'm sure he and Esper could get a long just fine ^^

Here's what I though could happen.
Juliet is a Vampire and Remus is a Werewolf.
Juliet can't stand the smell of werewolves, they just smell funny to her and I think Remus might have a hint, or could know what she is.
I think Juliet would look to Remus in the same way as she looks to herself, and Juliet may try and get over the smell and become friends over their difficulties in life...

Sounds like a plan to me!
I think he'd be suspicious at first, he definitely wouldn't know what she is right off the bat. The majority of his 'supernatural creature' knowledge is of werewolves so he'd probably go off and do a little research to confirm his suspicions. Though once he put two and two together I think he'd sympathize with her because he knows what it's like to be something that regular witches and wizards simply wouldn't understand and how hard it is to hide who you are from the rest of the world.
I think they could become friends :3

Kate and Remus

Kate would definitely be attracted to Remus' mysterious side. She has a thing for troublemakers, although she herself is not one. But, she does have an adventurous side and is naturally curious. Now that she's in 1976 she is playing with Sirius and James on the Gryffindor Quidditch team so she probably knows Lupin though them and from being in the same house. She'd never be up front about liking him though, she's not very good at expressing that she likes someone. But, she'd stand up for him and be really nice to him, which in her own way is sort of like saying "I like you." That only creepy thing would be the fact that he was her professor in 1993ish and she'd probably know he got fired because he was a werewolf. But, she'd never say anything. Let me know if there's anything you'd be up for plotting.

Remus & Kate
Remus is always at the Quidditch games supporting Gryffindor team and his best mates and is, quite often, at the practices as well so she'd definitely see him around the pitch sitting in the stands--but since they're both Lions they'd also probably see a lot of each other around the common room and in classes.

He's pretty oblivious when it comes to feelings being directed at him, mostly due to his insecurities and the fact that he doesn't feel like he's good enough for anyone. He'd more than likely mistake her nice gestures and kindness for acts of friendship--which he would gladly return. I think they'd get along just fine and be decent friends :)!
