EYE DETAILS: Her eyes are a combination of blue and gray, light but stormy in nature; her eyes are her best feature in her opinion despite their habit of reflecting her emotions to a well extension. They are average spacing, and proportion, and are olive shaped; she wears glasses every once in a while when she’s reading.
HEIGHT/WEIGHT/BUILD: Constance stands at Five-foot-Six inches and weighs around 145 pounds. She’s not very skinny but not pudgy, mainly because of a high metabolism and a habit of going for runs. She enjoys keeping herself in shape.
FACE: Her face is very pretty, she has high cheekbones and her lips are a soft shade of pink. Constance was often told as a child that she was the splitting image of her mother back then, and she has a gentle heart-shaped face. She has straight white teeth due to braces in her third to the middle of fifth year. She has both ears pierced and a small mole on the side of her neck. Her eyes are possibly the most noticeable of her features because of their color.
STYLE: Comfortable, Constance doesn’t really care about her clothing style as long as she’s able to be herself in them; from dress slacks, to her school uniform, to Quidditch attire or just pajama bottoms, she’s alright. Almost always, however, she wears her mother’s wedding ring on a silver chain around her neck in memory of the night she died. For the most part, Constance enjoys wearing black slacks and button down blouses because it causes her to feel more professional rather than like a teenager. She does; however, tend to remain in her dress shoes or wear simple running shoes.
FEELINGS: When it comes to what she’s feeling, Constance can keep a straight face although her eyes are the key to find out what’s on her mind. She doesn’t like to express her views on certain topics. Despite being a Slytherin pure blood, she’s a relatively easy going, gentle person.

BOGGART: The Death of her Adoptive Family – Because Constance has already lost her birth parents, she truly loves that the Graham family had taken her in and gave her two more sisters, along with a new chance at happiness. They mean a lot to her, and if she loses them, she’d possibly lose hope in everything and be left alone once more.
DEMENTOR: The Death of Her Parents – When Constance was nine years old and her family was on a vacation, she and her parents were in a car accident that ended up in her father was killed instantly from full impact to the driver’s side. Her mother, however, survived the initial accident but she passed away later on in the Hospital from complications in a surgery, she was in the room with her.
PATRONUS: Form – Fox, reflecting upon her intelligence, wisdom, and cunning nature..
Memory: Constance’s best memory is from when she was eight years old. Her father and mother had bought her first guitar for her birthday due to her constant asking to borrow her father’s; She spent several hours that night tuning it, cleaning it, and then played along with her father and mother in the front room, giving them time to bond and feel like a family.
AMORENTIA:
o The Ocean: When her parents were alive, they traveled to America once in a while and Constance can still remember the sweet smell of the salty air that caused her to relax and forget about her troubles. After her parent's death, she makes a point to at least go to the ocean twice a year.
o Cinnamon and other spices: Mainly because she's someone that likes to bake even if it's just something small and rarely done. The smell reminds her of a simpler, happier time in her life.
o Nature: It's pure but it can be violent. Constance actually prefers the natural scent of someone and a light deodorant rather than having to be poisoned by perfumes and colognes.
VERITASERUM:
o Because of her parents death, Constance can see Thestrals. Her first instinct upon seeing the creatures, however, was tensing up and her eyes widened slightly despite the fear reflected in the blue-gray color.
o She wants Voldemort to fall, mainly because both of her adopted siblings are half bloods and she doesn’t see the need for blood purity. She believes that all wizards and witches, no matter the blood status, are brilliant in their own way.
STRENGTHS:
o Non-Verbal Casting & Quick Spell Mastery
o Intelligence
o Charms (including jinxes, hexes, and curses): She is very brilliant in defending herself and using offense when it comes to incantations and spells
o Potions: It might be her calling, being able to make many Potions without having to think about it very often; when she realizes something is wrong in the text book she uses, she will correct it. Then again, her mother and aunt both specialized in the course.
o Observance Skills
o Transfiguration – It’s her second favorite course, studying it on her own obsessively to the point that she’s gotten her Animagus transformation down.
o Keeping things to herself
WEAKNESSES:
o Memory Recall
o Divination
o Temperamental (at times)
o Can get jealous
o Sarcasm
o Conscientious (at times)
o Ancient Runes
o Cares of Magical Creatures
o Expressing Pain
o Ambition
o Failure
OVERVIEW:
Constance is a very crafty young woman that is able to cope in difficult situations fairly well in addition to being able to draw up information that she had learned in the past and apply to it whatever she's working on. Her parents raised her to be very precise in many things that she does, and failing in things can irritate her greatly. Often, she has the instinct to hide her gentle nature from people and avoid them; coming off as cold and heartless, it is easily to say that she can be shy at times however some people would call her rude.
She does have the tendency to be a bit sarcastic at the worst of times, and is fairly stubborn when it comes to getting what she wants. When she sets her mind on something, Constance is an ambitious individual who works as hard as she possibly can to reach that certain goal; yet if she ends up finding herself overworked, she will back off for her own health and sanity. Constance is an intelligent young woman, taking after her father who was a Ravenclaw in this manner, and enjoys challenging herself to the best of her ability. She is a wonderful student, hardly getting anything lower than an E on her O.W.L.s.
While she prefers to keep what she's thinking to herself, there are times when Constance can lose her temper and go off at several people (when they are insulting someone's family, they mention hers, or when she finally gets tired of the harassment). She can be a very, very cold person, however she prefers to stay laidback and keep a clear head. Constance is very protective of her family members (or those she likes, at least) and loved ones; willing to go to extreme lengths in keeping them safe. Constance is a fairly compassionate person and she does enjoys listening to people talk about their problems and tries to offer her advice if they wish for it however this is only shown to those that she gets along with and cares for them.
Unfortunately, depending on whom she is around and who she feels like dealing with, she can be cold and mean, or kind. When it comes to relationships, she is someone that tries to keep them as steady and easy going as possible and would do anything to keep the other person safe, including sacrificing her own happiness. Because of her relationship with her adopted family, she’s a naturally kind person. Constance doesn’t particularly believe in blood purity and she would scoff at it even more if she weren’t afraid of being killed by someone in her house. She isn’t a stereotypical Slytherin, and she prefers it that way because it just goes to show that she’s more of an individual.[/SIZE][/ul]

OVERVIEW: Constance Alexis McCarthy was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on August 31st, 1970 to Artesia and Jackson, a happy couple from England who moved to America for a new chance. Artesia was a Slytherin Alumni, her husband a Ravenclaw Alumni. The couple had no other children, yet they did not spoil her because they believed that she needed to learn things on her own and earn the better things in life. Often, they traveled back and forth between America and England to visit both sides of the family. When Constance was five, however, Jackson received a job offer in the Daily Prophet, they moved to Oxfordshire, England.
Life for the family was easy. Jackson would go to work, and Artesia would work on Potions at home to take care of their beloved daughter before she went off to school. They were happy, and trouble avoided them fairly well. One thing about the McCarthy family was that they preferred to live near muggles and live life their way once in a while. Constance’s first act of magic was when she was seven years old. Her father had been pitching an American baseball at her, and she hadn’t been paying attention. Instead of catching it as intended, it turned into an orchid right in front of her and Jackson. He couldn’t have been prouder… despite the loss of his favorite baseball.
Unfortunately, for this picture perfect family, things fell apart when Constance was nine years old. While driving to visit London, the couple and their daughter were in a car accident. Jackson was killed instantly from full impact on the driver’s side while Artesia ended with many serious internal injuries; Constance was unharmed for the most part aside from a few scratches and a badly bruised side. A few days later, as she was visiting her mother in the hospital and it was the saddest moment for Constance’s life as she watched her mother slip away in front of her.
She was adopted by Stephen and Bonnie Talbot when she was ten years old, spending a year in an Orphanage for girls, changing her name from Constance McCarthy to Constance Graham. At first, it was a little awkward for the girl to adjust, but she soon started to adore her adoptive parents, as well as her two sisters that were the same age. Her acceptance letter to Hogwarts came a week before her eleventh birthday, pleasing her as she began to think about her parents and what they had told her about the magical place and with a trip to Diagon Alley, her imagine went wild. Oddly enough, none of Olivander’s wands fit her, which caused Constance and Stephen to travel elsewhere. It ended with a slightly springy, Madrona wood, Boomslang venom and Unicorn hair core, that was ten inch in length.
For her first few years in Hogwarts, Constance was pleased as she worked as hard as possible to be who she wanted to be, being accepted into the same house as her mother when she was a student. In her third year, she tried out for the Slytherin Quidditch team and made it as Chaser, keeping her place for the next three years. In her fourth year, she continuously worked on Transfiguration and Potions to be her best courses, eventually managing to train by herself as an Animagus. Just before returning to Hogwarts in her sixth year, she was able to do a full transformation into a pure brown fox aside from the ring of silver around her neck – it’s where she wears a silver chain with her mothers wedding ring in place.

ANYTHING ELSE?: I’m going to be moving in a few weeks, so Constance might disappear for a short time.
RP SAMPLE:
She smiled softly, listening to him speak as she leaned lightly into the table and crossed her left knee over her right. The denim stretched stiffly despite already been worn in from lack of use. Usually, she dressed a little more on the professionally casual side, but Constance was perfectly fine letting George see her more comfortable days. Slacks, dress shoes, and her school shirts were not on that list. “Only six?” She lifted her eyebrows at that part, completely surprised, “That’s unreasonable, you two are brilliant when it comes to your inventions.” She smiled faintly at his dramatic sigh before she lifted their hands and pressed a small kiss to his, lowering them once more to the table.
Constance saw where he was looking and gently brushed her thumb over the area. “Toad. Not bat. Toad, love.” A bat could at least look cute. Umbridge and her obsession with the color pink had made the girl cringe. “You’ll be the first one to know.” She murmured softly, knowing very well that he’d end up being the first person she wrote to and complained. It bothered her lightly, Constance knew, that Gryffindor had taken a harder beating than Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff simply because Umbridge hated them, the idea of rebellion and the idea that people had actually believed Voldemort had indeed returned. Constance had believed Harry, not the Ministry, when Diggory had died.
At the words “I can’t”, she lowered her gaze to their hands and knew that her expression was anything but pleased, but she had also been expecting it. Lightly, she shook her head and she lifted her gaze to his face. “He killed them in cold blood and the only reason I had gotten away was because I used an upper level spell… River lives to make me feel pain.” Just even the thought of any of the Weasley’s getting hurt by her brother bothered her. It angered her at the thought of any one being harmed by him because she knew that she possibly could have just gotten it done with recently. “It scares me, the idea of you all getting hurt, that is. I can fight, I plan to fight… its just, I really honestly see no point of death. No one wins truly in the end. It doesn’t bring back anyone that’s passed on, it doesn’t equal out everything, what’s done is done. Families mourn on both sides...” Her voice trembled a few more times, and inwardly, she told herself just to stop talking. She didn’t cry at school, so why would she do it in front of him in a dirty pub?
Constance was brought out of her thoughts as he asked a simple question that she was never able to answer, and softly, she smiled and squeezed his hand. “Because then I won’t be as unique.” She chuckled, “But also… I’m one of the few people that do not have both parents that are Slytherin Alumni. My father was a Ravenclaw, he talked my mother out of being a blood extremist and together, they taught me that it wasn’t as if pure bloods are any stronger. Sure, we’re pure, but look at the declining numbers. It’s lower in England and Britain than it is in America, and even then.” She lifted her shoulders before smiling a bit.
“Oh?” As he leaned closer, she felt the smile widen and she closed her eyes as she met him halfway, placing her hand against his collarbone as his hand went to the back of her neck. Rather than focus on the troubles and talk, it became obvious that she would prefer to focus on the sweetest moments. “You win.” She murmured against his lips, but as she pressed her lips harder against his and gently gripping his shirt, Constance didn’t want to move at that moment.
