HEIGHT/WEIGHT/BUILD: Standing at 5’11”, Dorcas is extraordinarily tall for a girl however she is not to be described as willowy. Weighing 140 lbs, Dorcas has somewhat of a boyish figure.
FACE: Slightly round
STYLE: Dorcas has a very low key sense of style. She prefers comfy clothes like simple jeans, sweat shirts, and t-shirts. Of course Dorcas just loves a nice pop of bright color here and there.
FEELINGS: Most people would describe Dorcas as always being in a perpetual state of cheerfulness, but she’s tired of that. Now she’s confused- a girl with a brilliant grin with so much trouble behind it.

DEMENTOR: When she was younger, Dorcas and her sister would play hide and seek. Dorcas was always the best a hiding, almost too good. One day she decided to climb and squeeze into the fridge. It was a genius yet terrible idea. Her sister never found her and eventually gave up, leaving Dorcas stuck, scared, cold and alone until her mother found her and hour or so later when she opened the fridge to take out leftover meat loaf for dinner.
PATRONUS: Dorcas’ patronus turns into a dog. Her best memory is of course her first time flying. It was just so natural and exhilarating. To top it all off was the look of pride and joy on her parents’ faces.

OVERVIEW: Dorcas was sorted into Gryffindor for a reason. She is as brave and daring as Gordric Gryffindor himself. Honestly, she lives life with no fear acting all free spirited. It was clear even from a young age when she would do things like climb on top of the monkey bars using no hands and stand up to the neighborhood bully himself. Now it just appears like she’s too reckless for her own good, but potato patato.
While most admire her for this trait, it does have its consequences and negative aspects. First and for most, Dorcas is too impulsive for her own good. Always acting before thinking lands her in quite a bit of trouble. Perhaps though that trouble is caused by her lack of respect for rules and authority? Whatever the case is, Dorcas spends too much time for even her own liking in detention and being chased after by Filch.
Secondly, Dorcas lives in the moment and therefore doesn’t let the past or future affect her. Bad memories and sorrow pasts don’t haunt her while the consequences to come in the future don’t faze her. Yet at the same time, she understands that a moment is fleeting so why not make the most of it and make the most of it she does. Dorcas doesn’t dilly dally and nitpick. Instead, she takes action and lives life to the fullest never looking back. At the same time, this is her seventh year at Hogwarts, meaning Dorcas has no choice but to think of the future and that’s put her seriously out of sorts. Her confusion appears in the form of a temper, rudeness, and an incredible amount of sarcasm.
On the topic of school, her work ethic is next to nothing. Dorcas puts off papers to the last moment only to rush so she gets them done in time. Additionally, she frequently doesn’t show up for class in time. Finally, when it class, Dorcas has a hard time paying attention, always spacing off and passing notes. In short, she would be a teacher’s worst nightmare if not for her natural intelligence. Clever, witty, and at times a good guesser, Dorcas somehow manages to do well in school, a fact that befuddles all.
For the most part however, Dorcas is simply this: a cheerful girl with a smile that brightens the world. Always laughing, smiling, and joking around, Dorcas is truly a sweetheart. She is nice to all willing to lend a helping hand or just give a smile, no matter to who the student may be. More importantly, to her closest and dearest friends, Dorcas is fiercely loyal, willing to go to the end of the earth for them. Sure, she can be a bit rude, and yes, she is a trouble maker, but when it comes down to it, Dorcas is quite lovable.

FATHER: Peter Meadowes, Forty, Unspeakable, Neutral, Hufflepuff
SIBLINGS: --- --- Meadowes, Sixteen, neutral, Gryffindor
OTHER IMPORTANT FIGURES: cousins with the Taylors
WEALTH STATUS: middle class
BIRTHPLACE: St. Mungos
CURRENT RESIDENCE: London
OVERVIEW: Daisy Taylor and Peter Meadowes both came from the similar background of a lesser known pureblooded family. Yet they didn’t share anything else in common until their sixth year at Hogwarts when they met on the first day of classes in their potions class. Partnerless in this NEWT level class, the two found each other, and it was indeed like a match made in heaven. For the next two years at Hogwarts, the pair became closer and closer. The friendship turned to relationship, and soon after graduation, their relationship turned to engagement. A year later on a fine spring day the two married and became Mr. and Mrs. Meadowes. Life went on. Peter became an unspeakable at the ministry, and Daisy opened a book store, until finally one day Dorcas Meadowes entered this world.
From the very beginning she was a trouble maker. It started with her three week premature birth. Instead of a beautiful baby, the Meadowes had a sickly small girl who they were certain wouldn’t make it. But also from the very beginning Dorcas was a fighter and a survivor, so against all odds she lived on. In years to come her parents would also jokingly say from the very beginning Dorcas was so impatient and energetic that she couldn’t wait another three more weeks to come out.
Not long after, a very different girl entered the Meadowes household in a more convenient manner, and although a one year old Dorcas didn’t realize it at the time, she would come to view her younger sister as a perfect little girl that she could never measure up to and would therefore loath. Maybe she first realized this when she was five years old. It was Christmas eve, her father was out, her mother was busy cooking in the kitchen, and Dorcas was too curious for her own good. After convincing her sister, the two began sneakily opening the presents under the tree wanting to know what lay inside. Obviously however, they weren’t acting sneakily enough for Daisy found them. Dorcas’ little sister immediately ratted Dorcas out insisting it was her idea, and as a result Dorcas took all the smack while the perfect angel sat quietly sipping a cup of hot cocoa. Dorcas could have sworn she saw her sister smirking. From that moment on, they were sisters at war always fighting and arguing.
The Meadowes household could only breathe a sigh of relief when Dorcas received her Hogwarts letter. With the two girls finally separated, there could be peace at last. Dorcas was glad too because to her Hogwarts was freedom. She was quickly sorted into Gryffindor, and she just as quickly began to make a name for herself. She was the trouble maker, a goof ball, an energetic ball of energy. She was outgoing and cool. For the first time, Dorcas felt special, and she loved it.
Of course, all good has to pass. A year later, the youngest Meadowes joined Dorcas at Hogwarts as a fellow Gryffindor, but Dorcas was determined to make things different. This time, she didn’t let her sister faze her. Dorcas told herself she was above that, and so the war between the two petered out. There became an unspoken truce between the two, yet deep down the resentment still remained, dormant like a volcano.
Finally, it was the summer after her sixth year at Hogwarts that the volcano erupted. Her sister had just gotten back her outstanding OWL results, and Dorcas could only stand there and watch her parents smile in pride while she thought about how she had no clue what she wanted to do with her life. The pressure caused her to crack and the fighting returned with a vengeance. Now she was arguing with her whole family over everything and anything ranging from her parents disapproval over her new found desire to become an auror to her sister stealing her favorite shirt. Rest assured, Dorcas could not wait for September 1st to arrive along with the peacefulness Hogwarts brought.

RP SAMPLE: Oh the curse of spring Alice couldn’t help but thing as she sadly looked out the castle window at the Hogwarts grounds. The grass as green and fresh. The trees were in full bloom providing the perfect amount of shade. The sky was clear. The birds were singing. Honestly, what could be better? But alas, the perfectness was ruined by the banishment of winter and the arrival of the gorgeous weather of spring. It seemed to Alice that the whole population of Hogwarts was basking in the glory of spring, enjoying the fantastic weather. There they were laughing and playing without a care in the world. Hell, they were even sitting under her favorite tree. Honestly, the nerve! That was her tree, just perfect for studying. She had even carved her initials into it once during third year as if to mark her space. But alas, there was no going outside for Alice today. There were way too many people out there for the recluse’s liking.
Therefore, Alice was sadly located in the Hufflepuff common room, where she gazed longingly out the window, instead of doing work, gazing at the people. Yet, while it seemed like all of Hogwarts was out on the grounds enjoying the day, there were still plenty of obnoxious students in the common room talking and laughing loudly, some even playing that ridiculous game, exploding snaps. Honestly, didn’t they have end of the year exams to study for? She certainly did, and Alice certainly wasn’t going to slack off any longer else she would be no better than those students.
Grabbing her bag and books from the table where she’d left them Alice hurried out the common room, not sparing her fellow Huffepuffs a further glance. Deftly, she wound her way through the corridors in the dungeons until she arrived in the entrance hall. For a moment, Alice looked toward the double doors which led outside longingly. She briefly considered going outside to join her fellow students before shaking the idea off. Get a grip on yourself Greengrass Alice silently told herself. She couldn’t afford to slack off with exams coming up or else she would never hear the end of it from her parents. Besides, Alice had too much pride to let herself do purely.
Therefore, Alice continued up the stair cases until she arrived at the third floor, home of one of her favorite places, the Hogwarts library. Entered, Alice smiled in delight as she found the library nearly empty. Not that she was really surprised. Most people didn’t view the library as a refugee like she did. Plopping herself down at her favorite table, Alice spread out all the books she would need to review potions before organizing them in order of importance. Starting with the most important first, Alice began to read intently hoping to go undisturbed.
