OVERVIEW: Odette is known to be the perfect student. Getting to class early, participating in just about any extra activities she can and being on top of classes. Never known to get into trouble or to even attempt some sort of prank. She spends so much time on her studying that people know her name and not much else. Solitude has become her best friend over the years. Really she only has herself to blame. People have attempted to reach out to her but Odette is lacking in social skills. Her social inept ways especially come out when there is a prank or joke.
Her withdraws from social tendencies could and probably should be categorized as a defense mechanism. As it helps to keep her outside of most social groups. Besides Quidditch and her studies, Odette does not surround herself with a lot of people. This has led her to be quite the mystery around school. No one knows what is running through the tall blonde’s head most days. Sure on the pitch, she’ll respond and even talk to her teammates and the other players. Out of such situations, Odette almost seems to be a shadow on the wall. Truth is she longs for something most have. Longing for a social life and to even pick up a few friends before she hits adulthood.
Everything is logic. Even the simplest of attractions can be broken down to a simple science in her mind. People are attracted to each other by the basic laws of science. Most of the time she figures that you really can’t help who you are attracted to because of our animalistic instincts. Love she supposes could happen between two people but when you got down to it, it is not as magical as everyone thinks.
A bit of her is very much the cop that her father was. Disciplined she keeps herself on a set schedule and hates to deviate. Plus Odette picked up some defensive skills from her father and if the time would call for it even without her wand she could defend herself.
If someone were to give her a chance, beneath it all she cares. Beneath that hard outer shell she is a fairly good person. Plus if you give her the chance, she will smirk and even drop a few sarcastic remarks. This for her is a lot more then you could hope to get out of her. On top of it, Odette is a musician. Mostly a classical pianist.

FATHER: Adam Jay Knight, 37(at death), Muggle Police Officer, Deceased
SIBLINGS: Odette is a only child.
OTHER IMPORTANT FIGURES: Athena(named after the Greek goddess of wisdom), her black and white cat.
WEALTH STATUS: Higher middle-class.
BIRTHPLACE: London, England
CURRENT RESIDENCE: Wiltshire, England
OVERVIEW: Her mother’s parents were both witches and wizards. Mind you they were very open of others and did not hold themselves to a higher caliber. Both worked in the Ministry and made lower middle class. They worked to the bone each and every day and made it by. Her mother was determined to care and provide for her parents. So she made it her mission to become great at something and make quite a bit of money at it. At school her mom was decent with her grades but the one thing she was really good at was Quidditch. Her mother was a star player and seemed to blaze the trail. She could take out any of the guys on her team and she reminded them of it more than once or twice. Everything in her life seemed to fall into place.
Though when she had an accident on the pitch during a match, her dream of being an all-star player were shattered. Spending most of her time just focusing on the sport in school her mother had little to no idea what to do with her life. There was only one place that her vast knowledge of the sport was going to do her any good. From that moment on her career at the Department of Magical Games and Sports was set.
After about two years of working she met a man. In the muggle world and for her and even him it was love at first sight. Sure they took things slow but both knew from the beginning that this was the one person they wanted to spend the rest of their lives with. After about a year of dating, her father popped the big question and they were married. Naturally her mother educated him on the world she came from and even what she was. Giving up living in the magical world, she moved into a house with him. He was an officer in London one of the higher ranked at that. He was extremely skilled at his job and he made a good pay check. Then her mother continued to work with the ministry and saved up a lot of her money.
1960, they had their one and only child Odette. Even at a young age she was not a social child. Mostly she interacted pleasantly with other children but rarely cared to play with them. When asked why she merely replied that the other kids did not know what they were doing when it came to games, blocks, and so on. Not that she was particularly hateful to other children it was just that Odette knew herself to be at a much more advanced level. Even at that age she crazed to be accepted by her peers. Not that it worked out so well. It usually just ended in her being called names and she would give up feeling a bit defeated.
In school it was always that way even when she got accepted into Hogwarts. In her mind she could not have thought of another house for her to be. Ravenclaw fit her like a glove. Now the time she spent outside of school with her parents was more important than ever. They spent a lot of time together and her father even taught her a few things. Knowing how people were, he taught her to defend. Mind you he taught her the best way that he could, no magic used naturally. He even taught her the piano; quickly she adapted to it and became a brilliant pianist. All the emotions she never seemed to show would ring out on those keys. The piano seemed to capture the words that never left the mouth of Odette.
Her second year she made it onto the team, thanks to the pressure of her mother. Wishing for her daughter to succeed in something she thought herself to have failed at. Often Odette would get letters from her and still does, asking how it’s going. Even at times she would send her more letters offering advice and telling her how to play and to focus herself in on the game. For Odette, even with the pressure from her mother she fell in love with the sport. It also became sort of defining for her. People started to recognize her for more than just a proper student. Not to say that it has led to any kind of social life. Most of her days consist of classes, studying and practice. The pressure of her mother sometimes crushing Odette.
In her third year, tragedy stuck. Early December her father was shot in the line of duty. He was doing his normal rounds and in a scuffle with a criminal he was shot in the chest. Surviving the ride in the ambulance and a short time in the hospital. When he died, Odette could feel a heavy burden in her chest. Yes she loved her mother but her father she had the biggest attachment to. He had understood her the most and taught her all that she knew. He read to every night when she was young, she let him in. Coming home for break, her mother made the decision that they should move. Neither could deal with being in the home. Odette could always remember him eating little peppermints. He had them in his pockets always and he had begun to smell of it. Even to this day, the scent makes her smile.
Moving out, her mother moved them more into the magical world. Wiltshire, England was just the place. This is also where other wizards and witches houses/manors were located. Her mother bought a sizable house for the two of them. Yes they were well off but her mother is not someone to go flashing her money around and believes only to take what you need. Returning to school, Odette became more secluded. Frankly if the student did not read the obituary with her father’s name in it, they would not have the slightest clue that she lost her father three years ago as she talks about it with no one. Yet someone the dream that she had as a child still lived on. Watching her fellow students with the emotional attachments and relationships. Odette was and still is a bit jealous. Wanting something like that and who knows maybe her sixth year she will finally be able to get it.
That or she will crack under the pressure of remaining a perfect student and daughter. Only one way to find out. [/SIZE]

ANYTHING ELSE?: Hi!
RP SAMPLE:
Aurora had nothing to do. Her homework was done and well she had nothing to worry about. Some or most had social lives to worry about and well she was not one of them. Sure Aurora socialized with Slytherins and in general she was accepted by most of them. Alot of the Pureblooded and bias ones though were sort of ashamed to have her in their house. Not that she went around announcing it but a few of them had figured it out. They had closed minds and she very well knew that some of them would never take her serious simply because she was halfblood. She would show them though, just how great she could and would be.
Even if it meant stepping on a few toes. Aurora never particularly minded. The weaker people always got crushed when the more powerful took their rise. All of these thoughts swam threw the fourth years mind as she was changing. Into a ballerina outfit. She figured she might get some practice in and it was not like anyone was going to notice her gone till dinner. That was the nice thing about people knowing her reputation for being so stuck up. No one cared to even make a attempt to get threw that shell. Standing in front of a mirror she looked at herself. The outfit fit her purpose and she ran a hand on the front, smoothing it a bit.
Getting out a brown ribbon she sweeped her long red hair into it and quickly tied it. A few loose strands still hung around her face but she seemed not at all bothered by it. Grabbing a longer jacket she put it over the outfit as she made her way out. Slipping on flat ballet shoes. A few glanced as the tall red head made her way out of the common room without hesitation. Of course the one thing she had forgot to think about was where she was going to go. Even if she did not want to go back to the common room looking like a idiot so she wandered for a while. Thinking of where she could possibly go.
Glancing over she saw a door, maybe it wasn't one that she was suppose to walk into. Aurora really had no idea but for some reason she felt that it was just what she needed. Coming up, she pulled on the handle and it came open without hesitation. For a moment she narrowed her eyes and thought about what this could possibly mean. Walking in at first she hesitated. It was dim lit well it was good enough that you could see everything in the room from first glance. It was a ballet studio. That was when it hit her.
Ah yes this must of been the Room of Requirements. Quite helpful at this time she had to admit. You could hear soft music in the background and it was absolutely perfect. Doing a few stretches Aurora prepared herself for a bit of practice. Perhaps she could get caught and then she would be in trouble. Probably not good for her track record of being so good and studious. Not that she could not just make up some excuse. Sure that Umbridge women was horrible but as long as you acted on her good side you got what you wanted and could do what you pleased. Sure Aurora did not care for the women but trying to rebel against her was really going to get her no where.
Beginning it was all natural for Aurora. The way she moved herself and the spins. She was good, the way her toes pointed perfectly and the way she moved with the rhythm. She could feel it, when her feet touched the ground she could feel the pulse of the music. Call her crazy but that was how she had gotten so good, by adapting herself to the pulse. As she was going Aurora hardly thought of the possibility of someone else walking in. It was more then possible and as she focused she did not hear the turning of the door knob. The next time she spun around her hair flying around her face she stopped dead in her tracks. Strands of her red hair falling around her face and she let out a couple of breaths. Her cheeks flushed and her toes still pointed. Unsure of what to do.
